Poptropica’s Facebook fan club, one of our resources for Poptropica sneak peeks and updates, will be closing. This message was left on their chat wall:

Well, fans, at the end of this week, we’re closing up shop here on the Poptropica Facebook page. The good news: You can continue to get sneak peeks and breaking news over at the official Poptropica blog (http://blog.poptropica.com)! And keep an eye out for one more special treat for our Facebook fans before we go.

In other news…

  • Some of you may have voted in the poll on Hyper Star’s Let’s Hang 10! post. We’re excited to say that the Poptropica Help Blog will soon be changing to a new website layout theme called Ocean Mist – to honor Poptropica’s theme color, blue!
  • Two of our Poptropica Help Team staffers, Neat Whale/WhispersSecret and Coskit – have decided to leave the PHB and move on with their lives. We will miss them, but please respect their decisions. For those wondering, 2 new staff members may soon join us.

As you might have noticed, I haven’t been posting for a while. That’s because I’ve…I’ve kinda lost control. I’va become more interested in other things such as like being of the Zone and just chattign with my friends (and DeviantARTing). I’ve completely lost interest in everything…and hey, well, what is there to it if you’re not enjoying it anymore?

But I do want to thank of course, Hijuyo for being my best friend, Coskit, HS, CW, and so many other people on the PHF and PHB for being there and supporting me, the rest of the Poptropica Help Team for…err, being my teammates, the idiots ( 😛 ) awesome people on the PHF for making me laugh, that includes EVERYONE, and a huge thank you to MF/GB (Maroon Fire/Golden Butterfly) for being awesome and always lending an open ear, and being like me and sticking it in with your dreams…which is why I recomend right out here in the open that she becomes a moderator on the PHF, instend of me.

I’ll still be on the PHF, but I want Motion to make me just a member. I’ll be on the Zone. I’ll still be playing Poptropica. I’ll still be on DeviantART. I’ll be on YouTube occasionally. And I’ll comment here from time to time; I’ll never leave completely.

OK… I lied… I ADMIT IT!!!

Sadly, our awesome Green Seal will need a replacement… Don’t ask…  That’s where my lie comes in… HYPER STAR IS BACK!!!

I’m an 11-year old girl who Irish-stepdances, plays baseball with all boys and is still girly, and LOOOVES the PHB. I wear glasses, I love school, and I’ve been told I’m “wicked smart.” I love watching Jeopardy!, ‘specially if I get the answers right. ^-^ Internetly, I’m the songwriter for the Poptropica rock band Flamin’ Skulls, MysteryMonster’s blog (ugh, I can’t believe how inactive I am there… D:), and I also work on the Poptropican Info Blog, run by Metsfan21.

Edit: I’ve taken out my thanks because I’ve been getting complaints. On the other hand, I know an awesome blog run by Maroonfire23/Goldenbutterfly she wants me to advertise. http://poptropicanguides.wordpress.com

But one last thank: to Master of Nack, a.k.a Coskit!!! I’m the nack, and she’s mah master. It’s awesome. 😀 Rawr.

On this magical and momentous day, us Poptropicans without membership, get to access the greatest and latest:

REALITY TV ISLAND!!!

But to be honest, I don’t feel all that cheery. Having to wait so long, and miss out is kinda sapping all the fun out of playing a new island. Which is another reason this whole Membership thing sucks. I mean, I understand the Creators need cha-chingy and all, but at least they could still have Early Access Passes…

Here’s the Creators blog post about it. A new mini-game challenge (Hang Glider) was also added to the island in celebration for today. Apparently, they share none of my unhappiness on what would otherwise be an awesome day:

Well, on Wednesday, February 24, 2010, Reality TV island was released to Members. This is more that 2 years after  the Creators first announced RTV. Members seem very excited about RTV, and I’m sure Smockers is even happier because I’ve heard tell that Hippie Man is alive and well. While the Members *gag* frolic happily  in RTV and us NonMembers sit and wait until March 24, we’re planning an attack on the Creators on account of Membership. Bring your hand items!!!! I’ve got mah FLAMETHROWER.

Get Real!

The new Reality TV island is now available early with Poptropica membership! If you don’t have membership, Reality TV will still be out and FREE for everyone on March 24th!

So, these are the new PCB polls. The bolded choices are the ones that are in the lead currently. I encourage you to vote for those. Why am I so excited? The rooms were MY idea – for Coderkid’s Colossal Contest! My entry was “customizable rooms, with furniture, decorations, and such.” This almost proves that the Creators read this blog! Awesome!!!! Everyone, please vote for rooms. It would be even more awesome if they credit the Poptropica Help Blog for the idea of rooms.
