Well, fans, at the end of this week, we’re closing up shop here on the Poptropica Facebook page. The good news: You can continue to get sneak peeks and breaking news over at the official Poptropica blog (http://blog.poptropica.com)! And keep an eye out for one more special treat for our Facebook fans before we go.

In other news…
- Some of you may have voted in the poll on Hyper Star’s Let’s Hang 10! post. We’re excited to say that the Poptropica Help Blog will soon be changing to a new website layout theme called Ocean Mist – to honor Poptropica’s theme color, blue!
- Two of our Poptropica Help Team staffers, Neat Whale/WhispersSecret and Coskit – have decided to leave the PHB and move on with their lives. We will miss them, but please respect their decisions. For those wondering, 2 new staff members may soon join us.

!!! YAY! I luv the blue theme. :3 I don’t really care about the Facebook page closing cuz it’s similar to the things on the blog. I’m nawt allowed on Facebook anyway. XP Well, can’t wait for the new whatever the come up with! Oh, and the girl’s ad thing isn’t available anymore. Nao, for younger players, it’s only the Froot Loops ad. 😉

I still don’t understand the point of Poptropica opening a Facebook page in the first place…Facebook is known to be only for 16-ups but the age limit on Poptropica is 6-15…

Hijuyo: They might have been trying to target a teen audience. Also, the minimum age requirement for Facebook is 13 – but some people will lie about their age to make an account there. x)
