In the past few days, Master Mime has been up to mischief and messing about in an unsafe area offering little protection – it looks like a sinister green river – and is that a monster tail sticking out?! o_O

Many of the PHB’s readers (who are very much into mythology) have pointed out that this could be the River Styx. It’s a good thing there’s a boat so you don’t fall into the deep and dangerous liquid below! Thanks to Spider880 for this update alert.

Blog Post Title: Help me
Description: I don’t know who allowed access to this cave but this area is obviously unstable and they didn’t even offer me a hardhat. Besides, what is that weird, green thing in the water?

Up for some magic tricks? [Pssst… it comes with a beard and mustache for your character!] Girls and boys each have different versions of the magnificent ‘Magician’ costume, now available at a Poptropica Store near you!

Thanks for this update alert, Bobitator. And as PHB reader Orange Tummy pointed out, the Creators must be watching and know that we all love facial hair. xD

Also, the stalkers of our Poptropica Help Forums community noticed a fan page on top social networking site Facebook that seems to be from the official Poptropica Creators:

http://facebook.com/Poptropica

Although not officially confirmed to be the real deal, it seems very likely to be [in fact, Jess M. Brallier of Funbrain, is a part of this group!]. It is not known why the Poptropica Creators mentioned nothing about this Facebook fan page on their website Poptropica.com yet. But if you’re already on Facebook, join the hundreds of Poptropica players who have already become fans! (:

THE SACRED MIDAS TOUCH!

Smockers

Have you ever wanted to channel King Midas’ famous power — turning everything into GOLD?

Of course! It's my biggest dream to have that power albeit the detrimental side effects that would render me uncapable of communicating as I couldn't touch anything or anybody!

You do?  Well, that works out handsomely, because you can just waddle into the Poptropica Store right now, and pick up your very own Midas Touch for the low price of 250 credits. Of course, if you’re wise like myself, you can get it for absolutely FREE!*

*membership required

Speaking of Poptropican membership, here’s a video of me testing it out:

Pretty sweet, eh?  After you’ve seen this video, does your opinion change about membership in Poptropica at all? Do you find yourself on the verge of insanity unless you get your membership? Or, are you not impressed, thinking that you could spend your money on something more useful?  Let us know in the comments! ^_^

I know this doesn’t have much to do with Poptropica, but I would appreciate it if you guys took the time to vote in the Best Virtual World for Kids poll on About.com.

http://familyinternet.about.com/od/resources/ss/readerschoice10-voting_4.htm

Shamefully, Poptropica isn’t on there, but another great virtual world, The Travels of Wiglington & Wenks, is!  Hijuyo, Coderkid, and I all have accounts on there… so it’s bound to be good, right? 😀 I urge you guys to check it out for yourself (CLICK HERE! You know you want to move your cursor over here. ;D) and to vote for it!  We’re in 2nd place right now only bested by… *thunder crashes* WEBKINZ WORLD! UGH (no offense to Webkinz World players)! Of course, I don’t want to force you to vote for The Travels of Wiglington & Wenks; make your best judgment on what virtual world you want to pick (hint: The Travels of Wiglington & Wenks ;)).

Thanks again, everybody!

Coderkid’s Colossal Contest – Prize Updates

coderkid

UPDATE! Thanks to DaVinci we have now confirmed 100% for sure, that EARLY ACCESS WILL NOT be purchasable with credits. Some of you may have already known this, etc., but for those who haven’t, you can now officially begin running around and acting like an insane person, since we all know that this means the end of the world. Good luck, and watch out for those meteors.

On a less sarcastic note, I also just put up a page (http://thephf.com/projects/) which will let you see and stay updated on the current statuses of projects. This way, I don’t get tons of messages asking when’s this and that gonna get done. 😛

Hey guys!

I’m REALLY REALLY sorry about the delay with the accounts. I finally got to them after finishing my homework early and setting aside some time. Took about 2 hours, LOL. Anyway, I finally got them done. Here they are! (These are just the usernames, the passwords for each were sent directly via email)

Each account is equipped with 1025 credits, and the custom name you specified.

  • DaVinci
    Username: davinci_phb
  • Pawsrent
    Username: pawsrent_phb
  • PostopiaLucy
    Username: plucy_phb
  • Moonlight91
    Username: mlight91_phb
  • MuddyDragon
    Username: md_phb
  • Friendly Beetle
    Username: fb_phb
  • BraveHero270
    Username: bhero_phb
  • Cool Wing
    Username: coolwing_phb
  • Squeezy Sinker
    Username: ss_phb
  • Mastermime212
    Username: mm_phb

I feel so free now that that’s off  my plate, LOL. I’m gonna go dance in the rain or something else equally overrated. 😛

If you didn’t get your email, or there is something wrong with the account, leave a comment FULLY describing the problem, and I’ll try and get back to you. Also, I may have gotten the genders wrong on some, so you’ll need to randomize (Ctrl +Shift + R) to fix that.

Hasta la vista,
Coderkid
