Where the Wild One is

HPuterpop

poptropicanWatermarkHi Gs (Guys, girls, and gorillas)!

Hopefully, you will read to the end of this post; I want you to be ready for what will soon hit this blog – I am HPuterpop; awesomeness unleashed.

I’ve been playing Poptropica since 2007; that’s the year Poptropica started!  I am a kid who loves to read, write, edit, and anything else involving the word “creative”.  I will try to serve you, the viewer, with lightning fast updates, Poptropica memoirs, and reviews! 😀

Why are you here, you ask?  I’m the newest addition to the PHB.  You could call me a Renaissance kid, or a Poptropica fanatic… anyway, whatever you call me, I’m so excited to be a part of the Poptropica Help Blog legend. I used to comment here when I was a (smaller) kid.  I went by the name “Puterpop” and had a big mouth.

Now, a little about me…  I draw all the time, and I do it digitally.  I will create art for anyone who asks, and am always looking for jobs.  I also write a good bit, and not only for blogging.  Mister Monster is my main site, where I post most of my material.  I’ll put links at the bottom of the post for more of HP goodness! And I’ll have to explain my name some other time.

You can friend my main accounts — “puterpop”, “puterpoptropica”, and “partypoppa”

Check my Gravatar for links.

Tough Icicle & the PHB’s Poptropica Christmas Party 2013

Samwow5

Psst! If you’re looking for the Mocktropica Island Guide, click HERE! The party has now ended, but you’re always welcome to go on the PHC! A recap has been posted on the blog.

TIBPHBCP

Hey everyone! When I became an author, I decided to ask Fishy about a party, so… here it is: the first ever TIB/PHB Christmas Party! If you don’t live in the US, use this time converter to find what time the party will be in your time zone. For US residents, the party will be at 8pm EST, 7pm CST, 6pm MST, 5pm PST.

Bring your Santa hats, candy canes, and other Christmastime gear! Get ready to battle in Multiverse rooms, add some new friends to your list, and maybe even win a rare costume prize! The party takes place on the PHC (Poptropica Help Chat), and along with chatting on Xat, we’ll be sharing Multiverse codes so we can meet on Pop!

To access the chat, click “Chat” in the navigational bar at the top of this blog or go to xat.com/thephc. The chat will be moderated, so it’s safe, and any rule-breaking will result in a kick or ban, so please don’t spoil the fun. If you have any questions, ask me in the comments! It’s going to be tons of fun, so join in the party!

Well, at least this one is.

Hello, world of the PHB! I’m so happy my good friend Slanted Fish aka Fishy, invited me to join the best blog in the world! You might know me from writing guides here, on the PHB, or from The TIB, my personal blog. To help Fishy I will try to post at least once a week. Here’s a little info about me:

I’m a 14-year-old boy who lives in the southern U.S.A. I love baseball, soccer, and swimming, but most of all God! I have been playing Poptropica for 4 to 5 years now, and my username is Samwow5. My music interests are Owl City, Neon Trees, Maroon 5, Flo-Rida, The Wanted, B.o.B, Nelly, and Bruno Mars.

That’s all for now at least! I hope you will like me as an author PHB viewers. I hope to contribute to this blog as much as I can.

The Blake Bomb has been released. Get ready, Poptropica…

Blake

The Blake has arrived! Release the bombs! Fire the missles! THROW THE CHEEEEEESE!

*runs inside, throws down bags* Woah, woah, hold the phone! I know I stole that outfit from the Store, but no need to get all worked up! *walks over to couch* Well. Let’s get started. *pulls out computer and begins to type*

Hey guys, Blake here! I’m so happy to be a part of the esteemed PHB, a feat I’ve dreamt of accomplishing for five years. Five LONG years, might I add.. *glares at Juyo*

I’m basically just your average 13-year-old Poptropica loving boy. Some of my fave bands are Hollywood Undead and Owl City on occasion. My Poptropica username is mickety2, but you probably won’t find me often (but if you want to accomplish this, I can usually be found anywhere, often on the newer islands.) You might remember me as the guy who wrote the Poptropica Adventures guide.

Did you write that guide, or did you steal it like that outfit?

Quiet, you! Anyway, I plan to bring a lot to this blog, including, but most certainly not limited to:

-My *strikes Project Runway pose* FABULOUS walkthroughs
-My *sulks* less fabulous video playthroughs once I get some recording software bugs out
-And my amazing minisodes, filled with humor an-

The Creators didn’t think you were humorous!

QUIET! TRYING TO INTRODUCE MYSELF HERE! So anyway, filled with humor and sometimes drama. I hope you guys will like me as the newest author (and not beat me up and toss me in a dumpster), and I hope to get another post out next week. Get ready, Poptropica. The Blake Bomb has been dropped.

I’m confused, was that a terrorism threat or a pun? *gets out the tazer*

It was a metaphor! A metaphor, for Poptropica’s sake! Anyway guys, bye! *throws down smoke bomb. As it dissolves, you can still see me crouched behind a lamp*

..Oh, you can still see me… *runs out the back door* NOWHERE AND EVERYWHERE!

The pandemic panic is coming….

Brave Tomato

…this week! Hey guys, BT here with a piece of breaking news! In a rare weekend post from Creator Captain Crawfish, he announces the following:

We know it’s been a long time coming. We know you’ve been patient. We know we’ve promised a lot. And we’ve been working around the clock to make sure we can deliver on those promises. Now, we’re very happy to say that Early Access to Virus Hunter Island will be available this week!

It’s the biggest, wildest Poptropica adventure we’ve ever made. It’s got a bigger screen, music and sound effects, and an epic storyline. We’re very proud of Virus Hunter Island, and we can’t wait until you can play it.

We’ll let you know exactly when Virus Hunter Island is available. Keep checking back!

A lot of Poptropicans are probably sighing in relief right now. We waited four months for Virus Hunter Island, and it’s finally coming out this week! Although he doesn’t say exactly when next week, it is likely that it’ll release on Thursday, August 29, considering Poptropica tends to release their islands on a Thursday.

Anyways, the map has changed up a bit, with two of the island icons colored: Virus Hunter and 24 Carrot Island. This indicates that these islands have been affected by Poptropica’s new larger screen and soundtrack format… which means 24 Carrot Island’s new format is now available for the public! Members can now play as their own Poptropicans with the new format!

(UPDATE: The improved 24 Carrot Island is now open to everyone!)

Do you think Virus Hunter Island will be worth the wait? I hope so.

BT out!
