A Farewell Story of Me.

Wow, been a long time since I’ve posted on here..

Hey guys, hope you still remember me, as GA or as Hicoga.

Yeah, I’m leaving the blog, which probably doesn’t come as much of a surprise considering that I’ve been dormant on here for the past year.

Now don’t think this means I’m leaving, leaving. You can find me all the time on the PHB chat. ( xat.com/thephc ) I’m really not going anywhere I just think that it isn’t very fair for me to hog up one of the spots on here when I don’t even really care about poptropica anymore.

Although if Juyo wanted to make this the Poptropica/Minecraft Help Blog I’d be all for it. 😉

Now I don’t want this to be just like any old farewell post. I’m going to let you all join me while I reminisce about my time here at the PHB.

“Crowd Groans”

So sit down, grab some popcorn, and enjoy.

It all started at school in 5th grade when my friend Mark told me about this new game he’d found on the internet. So I thought I’d try it out and logged on to “Poptropica.com”. I made a character named Golden Axe and played around for a bit in this new virtual world. Poptropica had just opened up about 1 year prior.

I beat all the islands and soon became bored with the game after about a week. I started searching for hidden things around the islands and on the internet. Of course, I eventually found the Poptropica Help Blog. At the time I had no clue I would one day be part of the site.

My favorite author at the time was Codien and he held this contest in one of his posts to get a beard added to your poptropican. I entered the contest and actually ended up being selected as one of the winners. He said the beard would be added to your character about a week afterward and so I waited. A week went by, no beard. Two weeks, Three weeks, and then I decided to take matters into my own hands.

I eMailed Hijuyo about my conflict and she was very helpful and got me my coveted beard. After that, we kept eMailing back and forth and soon became friends.

Well, the rest is history.

Thank you to everyone on here and I hope this blog stays successful for years and years to come.

And by the way, going back to what I said earlier, I am starting up a Minecraft blog called “The Daily Block” Check it out by clicking the picture below.

Hey, everyone. You could probably tell by the title of this post that I am resigning, only for my own personal reasons.

It was a pleasure to add my contributions to this helpful blog. I’d like to thank Hijuyo for giving me this opportunity, but I believe it’s time for me to leave to let someone else’s dreams come true. I’ll still promise myself to be writing Party with Hobos , but I will no longer be on the PHC. Good luck in future islands, Poptropicans! I was pleased to help you & this blog. I’m just kind of out of words right now, so I apologize that this is so short. But yeah..

Well…yes, I guess my time has come.

As my birthday approaches, I’ve been doing a lot of thinking– the cyperworld is a brilliant world, but a world where I often fail at. Growing older gives me some sort of melancholy feeling and with that comes my decision.

As much as I love blogging, I think we all know news-blogging isn’t for me.

I’ve loved being here so much! It’s been an amazing experience. I want to thank CW/Batcat for recommending me and Hijuyo for adding me. 🙂 As well as all the PHB readers for commenting and being able to stand my random posts.

It’s not the end for me! You can still catch me on my personal blog. 😀

Besides, I am the Doctor’s Companion, right? 😉 I should be time travelling!

Kyan – Welcome to Party with Hobos, the show in the format of stories that make kids laugh AND teaches them lessons! 😀
Ryku – Remember when we interviewed people?
Audience – *all at once* No!
Ryku – *gets saddened* Well, we used to do that.
Minotaur – And one of our most memorable interviews was that of the PHB crew playing Hole Tiemz! 😀
Wolfgang – What’s Hole Tiemz?
Minotaur – A game where you ask questions and if you make an answer that I don’t like, you fall through a hole into a world of broccoli.
Wolfgang – What’s a PHB?
Minotaur – Poptropica Help Blog.
Wolfgang – What’s a Poptropica?
Minotaur – Do I have to explain everything to you?
Wolfgang – Yes.
Minotaur – It’s a virtual world for kids.
Wolfgang – *rolls eyes* Thanks. You going ballistic on me was inappropriate.
Zey – Let’s bring out the crew shall we? *raises curtain by a rope*
*PHB gang sitting in chairs with chains around their wrists and ankles*
Minotaur – *clears throat and begins to walk around* For you NOOBS, this is a game called Hole Tiemz. I will ask you random questions. If I like your answer, I write safe on your forehead with a Sharpie, but if I don’t, you fall through a hole into a world of broccoli. Got it?
*they nod their head*
Minotaur – Hijuyo, where is the PWH widget on the blog?
Hijuyo – Well, I sort of ran out of room, so –
Minotaur – YOU HAVE PLENTY OF ROOM! YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO ADVERTISE THE PWH! HOW IS THIS SUPPOSED TO GET HITS?
Hijuyo – You have beautiful eyes! 😀
Minotaur – Ahw! :3 *writes Safe on Hijuyo’s forehead, walks over to Coderkid* Coder, why do you just read books and go on Twitter?
Coderkid – I met some really cool people on there, and it’s really fun.
Minotaur – YOU HAVE A RESPONSIBILITY OVER DIGITALK! WHAT’S YOUR PROBLEM?
Coderkid – I like your hair! 😀
Minotaur – *blushes* Are you just saying that because it’s green?
Coderkid – No, it’s really epic. 😀
Minotaur – *writes Safe, walks over to Green Boa* Why haven’t you been going to DigiTalk lately?
Green Boa – I never really had time to –

Minotaur – 😀 *writes Safe*
Wolfgang – *interrupts* Whoa, whoa, whoa! Is this all you do?
Minotaur – *looks over at Wolfie, scribbles all over GB’s face* What do you mean?
Wolfgang – You just yell at people and as soon they compliment you, you write Safe?
Minotaur – But she said *points at Hiyo* I have pretty eyes! D:
Wolfgang – *grabs Mino by the horn, smashes him against wall* Let me handle this.
Lady RCG – *gulps*
Wolfgang – I was gossiping with Ryku, Kyan, and Zey over there. You haven’t posted in a while, yet you still go to Where Thunder Roars? You haven’t posted since April!
Lady RCG – Funny story that I could explain! You see I –
Wolfgang – Hijuyo already had to politely pwn Hicoga over there for commenting instead of posting. On that Summer of ’11 or whatever post, she practically said: Why don’t you start commenting instead of posting? I don’t hire you to just look at the posts and move on with your day. I had to post for a while and then you comment? Give me a break. You need to start doing what you’re hired for before your lazy butt gets removed! D:<
Lady RCG – What does this have to do with me?
Wolfgang – Oh, so you’re backtalking me now?
Lady RCG – No, I’m just –
Wolfgang – *pulls lever*
Lady RCG – *falls through hole*
*everyone gasps*

Hicoga – I don’t copy them if that’s what you’re going to say!
Wolfgang – WELL, YOU’RE NOT GIVING CREDIT, I KNOW THAT! 😐 We all know you stole that icon from Cynaide and Happiness.
Hicoga – It’s free, so –
Wolfgang – If the creator ALLOWS you to take their original icons, then it’s okay. I bet you didn’t even ask permission. Like how you didn’t ask permission from CK and Codien. You just rolled with it.
Hicoga – What’s your problem, lady? Take a chill pill! D:
Wolfgang – EXCUSE ME? *smacks Hicoga hard*
Ryku – STOP IT, WOLFGANG! D:
Wolfgang – *turns to Ryku* I happen to take games very, VERY seriously.
Kyan – *crosses eyes, sticks tongue out* Derr, you think so?
Wolfgang – *rolls eyes, turns back to Hicoga, pulls lever on everybody*
Minotaur – Why’d you do everyone?
Wolfgang – I don’t care anymore. Also, I won’t have time for my musical preformance! 😀
Ryku – Musical preformance?
Wolfgang – Did I ever say that I was good at rapping?
Kyan – Why do you expect that we’d know everything about you in 3 episodes?
Wolfgang – *rolls eyes* 1, 2, 3, 4!
*catchy beat plays*
Wolfgang – Who do you think you are?
If you’re such a superstar,
