If you signed up for the island alert, you should have received an e-mail from [email protected] [Poptropica Creators] telling you about the release dates for Skullduggery Island. Here’s the [awesome] description:

Embark on a new adventure to save Skullduggery Island from the wicked Captain Crawfish. Once a thriving port, the island is at the mercy of pirates who steal its goods and prevent merchants from trading there. In order to restore the island, you and your crew will have to defeat the pirates and assemble the pieces of a hidden treasure map.

And THAT’S why you shouldn’t pay US$2.99 just to watch a video. ^_^ An official (and better) Skullduggery Island trailer is now available to those who waited for it:

The pirate life’s for me!

Hello Poptropicans! Recently, a trailer for the soon-to-be-released Skullduggery Island was released to members only! Of course, it would only be fair if all could witness a sneak peek of one of the most swashbuckling islands yet! Ladies and GentleMannes, I present to you the spectacle that is a preview of the adventures you will have on Skullduggery Island (courtesy of shaned46):

Notice the pirate-y, jolly tunes playing in the background. Wouldn’t it be just awesome if that could play in the background while you explore the island? *winkwinknudgenudge*

The other special item that was given to members was an exclusive Skullduggery Pirate costume. Here’s a picture of me in it.

More on Skullduggery, you can now see it conveniently placed on the Map, of course with a “COMING SOON.” It sure does look menacing!

Finally, a new wallpaper was released by the Poptropica Creators. I would recommend you replace your current desktop background with this new one in order to, as the kids might say it, “stay hip with the crowd, yo.” At least, that’s what I hear…

On the Poptropica Facebook page, there’s a special sneak peek for Skullduggery Island, clearly related to the bird boat seen yesterday. The “scrambled” bits of the picture in the last sneak peek are clearly arranged here and obviously belong to this ship.

Looks like this Skullduggery Island ship is almost ready for its christening! Wonder what it’s called…

This large vessel seems to be designed to look like a bird, and this scene shows that it is about to receive a name. Yellow ribbons aligned on the dock and a bottle of apple cider hanging from the sky portrays a celebration, but what’s with the seed bag? ._.

Hey guys. Sorry I haven’t been around for a while, but I’ve been really busy with exams and such. Trust me, when you get into high school, not to mention the grade I’m in, your workload gets insane. I’m talking REALLY insane. I have 5 hours of homework each night plus studying. Ouch.

Anyway, new PCB post. Here it is:

Tweet Ride!

One of my minions sent me these snapshots from his vacation on Skullduggery Island. I can’t tell what it is. A ship? A bird of prey? Whatever it is, it looks enormous!

This is obviously a shot from Skullduggery Island. It looks like a game in which we have to assemble the pieces. I’m guessing it’s some sort of pirate schooner with a bird (eagle? hawk? perhaps even a dragon, because of the claws and eye) as a mascot.

The image name is “Tweet Ride.” It sure is sweet, or “tweet.” The “ride” part makes me certain it’s a ship, along with the shot of the sail. Very interesting. Perhaps we have to assemble the pieces in order to gain access to the ship. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see….
