Less than (Ben) 10 days until Super Villain Island!

That is, if you’re a Poptropica member! Super Villain Island is set to release on September 27, 2012, which is next Thursday! We don’t know yet when it will be released to everyone, but maybe non-members will get a little demo. We’ll see. 😛

Get ready for dreams and disasters, and remember, the PHB’s Super Villain Island page will have guides and other resources available when it comes time to beat the villains. 😀

Also, there is a new Ben 10 Omniverse ad on Main Streets! Thanks to Samwow5 for his help on the guide:

Go inside and talk to Ben. He’ll tell you to talk to Zook. Zook says he is Ben’s new partner, and Zombozo is up to his old tricks again. Click on the 3rd question. You’ll have to help Ben get to Zombozo.

The rules state that you have to jump and climb your way to the top, but watch out for Zombozo’s bombs. If you get hit too many times, you have to start over. It’s very easy – just jump to different sides often until you reach the top. When you reach the top, he leaves. You win 2 prizes: the Alien Transformation Power and Ben 10 Costume.

In other news, don’t forget to enter the PHB’s 7 million hits contest if you haven’t already! You have until this Friday, September 21st for your chance to win a rare costume. 😀

Hotel Transylvania ad: Bellhop’s Job

There’s a new ad on Main Streets for an upcoming movie called Hotel Transylvania, in theaters September 28th! The object of the game is to deliver the luggages to the correct owners in 150 seconds or less. The names are marked on the doors.

WHAT GOES WHERE (WALKTHROUGH):

  • Wrapped up bag = Murray (first floor)
  • Stitches bag = Frank (first floor)
  • Normal bag = Jonathan (second floor)
  • Transparent bag = Griffin (third floor)
  • Scratched up bag = Wayne and Wanda (second floor)

For successfully completing this mini-mission, you’ll get two costumes! Girls get costumes of Mavis and Eunice. Boys get costumes of Drac and Frank. You can re-play the game if you want, but you’ll get the same prizes. 🙂

Poptropica’s having another Applebee’s promotion, and like before, you’ll find a Family Activity Book available from the kids menu of this North American restaurant. The Super Villain Island members gear pack is now available! Visit the Poptropica Store to pick up your free Night Hare costume (inverted/negative-colored Dr. Hare – this one’s limited edition), Sleeping Powder power (makes everyone fall asleep), and Evil Henchmen item (drops bunnies, crawfish, spiders, robotic mice). Awesome! Thanks, Muddy Axe.

There’s also an ad building for Monster High, so if you’re interested, check out the costumes and special prizes in the dorms of Venus (prize: Pollenator), Rochelle (Stone Gargoyle), and Robecca (Jetpack)! You might also see some other players around because it appears to be a sort of common room as well.

Some recent new sneak peeks on the Daily Pop suggest a possible city-themed island we may see in the future. Could it be related to this Creator sneak peek about the birth of an island? It even mentions the word smoothie, and one of these newer sneak peeks shows a building called Sluggy’s Smoothies. There’s also a Subway, matching both the island-process-planning sneak peek mentioned, and the Daily Pop.

On Roald Dahl Day, the Creators confirmed what we had been suspecting: an island themed after Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! Lots of Daily Pops have evidence for the idea, including this newer one depicting the infamous chocolate river Augustus Gloop fell into:

If you haven’t already, look for the blue balloon with a “5” on it in any common room (though Early Poptropica’s Soda Pop Shop is the easiest because of its smaller size) and pop it to get a bonus firework-shooting, limited edition epic birthday cake costume. There’s also a free color-changing balloon in the Store! Poptropica’s 5th birthday celebration lasts for the rest of September. Check out BT’s post for more pics!
