The latest thing that’s going on is that The Poptropica Help Forums “Best Dressed” Contest has just begun it’s voting stage (sorry, we are not accepting any more entries):

In other news, Poptropica has done some graphic updates (YAY!) to all the islands’ backgrounds. (Thanks, Incredible Fish!) VladtheViking uploaded a video on YouTube to share this news (titled ”Poptropica: Parallax”), and it seems that Binary Bard is taking part in the Poptropica Creators’ YouTube account by being the main character of the 16-second-long video.
Go back and take another look at the islands you’ve already completed. You can see new depth in the backgrounds and scenery of Poptropica. Hope you enjoy.
It appears that the background has some added layers of scenery. Check out Super Power island where it has new buildings in the background. So cool.

This is how you change it.
1. go the the poptropica image genorator (the online one) and type in your username.
2. Go to where is says put this on your blog
3. find the word transparent and highlight the url next to it until you have got to the end
4. Copy and paste the link into your adress bar
5. press enter
6. It should come up with the poptropican that you typed in. Now, go to the end of the url and then find the name and change it to what you want it to be.
7. press enter again
8. the name should of changed!
Warning this will not save the new name.

no this is so not fair… I agree with orange tummy and Cool Wing if only we could sell stuff as well as buy them and get credits for beating people at games … or maybe they also raised the amount of credits you get when you complete an island… i’m going to check now … also i think i know the real reason why they made things expensive…so we would buy more credits so they make more money!! I hate them!!! GREEDY PEOPLE!
