Ready to catch some ghosts on the new upcoming island titled Ghost Story Island? Can’t wait to capture some spirits? Your zeal has been temporarily relieved! A new minigame is out, and find out how you can win this costume:

It’s a members only, limited edition suit! It looks pretty high tech and epic if you ask me. My favorite part is the techy helmet. What’s yours?

Only members can obtain this suit, and with a special game. All members can, starting from today, can play a game to hunt down ghosts over Poptropica. You can easily access it by going to the map and to the “Spooky Centeral” icon for the minigame to start. The icon for the game is by the Ghost Story Island location.

Upon arriving you’ll be in a massive labratory. In the middle is a female scientist building a yellow apparatus. Talk to her and say “Maybe I Can Help.” She will give you an EMF detector that will flash when equipped if a ghost is in your area. Then you will obtain a plasma net to catch them and a log to keep track of ghosts you’ve caught.

What are you waiting for, then? Go to the islands and find some ghosts! The game will begin, and there’s a fabulous end reward.

Soon to be free for all…

The creators announced in a new post on their blog that Game Show Island will soon be free…for all! How cool is that? Non-members will soon be able to play the fun filled quest as well. In just 4 short days – on November 22 – it will be released.

But of course, the Store’s Game Show Robot costume still remains free and for members only. It looks pretty awesome if you ask me. So, buckle down and get ready for the new island!

The many swords of Legendary Swords Quest

Many of you may have began to play this all new Legendary Swords Adventure now. And many of you may have been familiar with many of its features, such as obtaining two types of swords: Rusty Relic and the Bolt.

If it hasn’t hit and of you yet, the PCB reminded us we can easily access these weapons by going to the weapon tab and switching between blades. Each blade is different and has its own rather unique advantage.

Of course, there are many more swords to be obtained as well. These swords can be obtained by purchasing the costume that comes with it from the Poptropica Store or by using your active membership.

The below swords in the picture the creators gave us is just another example of many of these extra swords. They are the Dark Knight Sword and Laser Sword. My personal favorite is Dark Knight since it sounds so uber and cool ;).
