Hello everyone! I just wanted to let you know that the island is officially out for members. Everyone else can play up to the end of the demo, and the full island will be out for non-members starting January 16, 2014. Also, the Poptropica logo on the front screen is glitching out! It’s so cool!

Be sure the check out the PHB’s Mocktropica Island Guide, now complete with pictures and a full written walkthrough! (Anyone is welcome to contribute if they want.)

In all the recent excitement on the PHB involving locating some hidden Poptropica files, the Mega Fighting Bots site not being playable (it’s back up now!), and the mysterious “Gamer Guy” (who turned out to just be a regular commenter having a bit of fun, not a Creator), you may or may not remember that Mocktropica is due to be released tomorrow for members!

There’s a couple of recent Daily Pop sneak peeks that look like they’ll belong on the new Poptropica-parody island. The rest look like they might be part of a separate “sky island” – more on that in this post. Anyway, check ’em out (click to enlarge):

There’s even a spot for the Mocktropica trailer video on Main Street of Poptropolis Games! (thanks, ayman351) Look how happy my character is to see that cow go all haywire.

Also, the PoptropicaCreators channel on YouTube recently uploaded a new Poptropica Tour video. Note especially at around the 1:10 mark, where they show the process of saving your game – by typing in monstercarniv in the username box! It’s been a while since they’ve hinted at Monster Carnival…

Gamer Guy Exposed!

Hello everyone! I have proof that the Gamer Guy we have seen on the PHB is a hoax! In the comments he made I clicked on the IP address, and it linked it to a commenter on the blog!

It most likely is Squeezy Wing, but I just wanted to get the word out. I don’t want any mean comments toward him or about him, it was just a harmless prank! The second Gamer Guy was also a harmless prank played by my friend, plz don’t give her any grief either. IP removed by request*

Time Tangled Glitchy Strangeness

Hi Gs,

I wish I could be able to stop posting, because one time per day is overload; I’ll try to stop posting as much after Mocktropica passes, but everything I update you guys about is urgent!

Yesterday evening, Gamer Guy claimed that he glitched some of everyone’s items. I didn’t think so, as my jetpack (one of the items he claimed to corrupt) was still there. But I’ve been looking through my inventory, and some of my items are really missing! Check these out:
