Mixels III: The Sequelning

MIXELS

EPISODE III: THE SEQUELNING

It is a period of endless Mixels ads. The cunning BLAKE POPWALKER, striking from a secret base, has gained a victory over the cruel MIXELS AD EMPIRE.

During the battle, Blake managed to steal the post for yet another ad, this time offering new prizes. Pursued by the Empire, Blake races home on his slightly-outdated Huffy ’79 bicycle, custodian of the stolen ad which can save his sanity, and restore freedom to the galaxy…

What’s popping, Poptropicans? Blake here, with another Mixels ad. Yes, remember when I did the first one? And then when I did it again? Well, the Creators have done it again! They’ve released a third Mixels ad, this time focusing on the Weldos tribe!

I think my expression in that photo says enough. Anyway, once you enter the ad, you are immediately greeted by two of the Mixels, who usher you to the prizes with signs on either side. Heading up the stairs, you can take a quiz, as well as claim your two item cards, this time being the Dribbal Run Power and the Kramm Drill Power!

There are also various signs that you can click, showing off the various aspects of the three tribes.

In other news, Poptropica tweeted this sketch of Manny from Wimpy Wonderland Island showing the various thickness levels of his various parts! Neat.

They also shared this awesome Dr. Hare cake with us. Well, just a picture of it, but we’ll assume it was delicious. For more cake pics, click the link in their tweet!

Okay, is there anything else? No? We’re done? GOOD.

Well, that’s all for now! Stay popping, Poptropicans.

PHB Parties

The PHB’s 2015 Holiday Party: You’re Invited!

The party has now wrapped up. Thanks for joining us!
Remember, you can hang out on the PHC any time, any day!

PHBHolidayParty

Hey everyone! It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and we’re about to make it more wonderful by inviting you all to this year’s 2015 PHB Holiday Party!

Some of you may remember all the fun we had at last year’s PHB Christmas party. Since this year I was late posting about the party details, we’ve decided to to roll a multitude of celebrations in one: Christmas, New Year’s, and all other holidays happening around this time!

Here are the event details:

  • WHO: Everyone – you’ll get to chat with Poptropicans and even PHB staff!
  • WHAT: Multiverse parties and lively chat on the Poptropica Help Chat (aka the PHC: join in at xat.com/thephc) – with a holiday twist. Bring your Santa hats, candy canes, and of course, your very merry Christmas spirit!
  • WHEN: December 27, 2015 (Sunday)8pm EST / 7pm CST / 6pm MST / 5pm PST (if you do not live in any of these time zones, use a time converter to find out what time it will be in your area! In some places, it may be Monday morning.)
  • WHERE: The Poptropica Help Chat hangout, better known as the PHC – xat.com/thephc
  • WHY: To spread holiday joy throughout the Poptropica community!

As noted above, the party takes place on the PHC (Poptropica Help Chat), and along with chatting on Xat, we’ll be sharing Multiverse codes so we can meet on Poptropica! To access the chat, click “Chat” in the navigational bar at the top of this blog or go to xat.com/thephc.

The chat will be moderated, so it’s safe, and any rule-breaking will result in a kick or ban, so please don’t spoil the fun. 😛

If you have any questions, just ask in the comments! It’s going to be fun, so see you there. 😀

PMFM (Poptropican Meme Face Mondays)

Poptropican Meme Face Mondays: Round 6

Heyyo Poptropicans, it’s Ultimate iPad Expert here. Christmas is coming this Friday and I am so excited!

MPChristmasMeme Thanks to the awesome Master Pinpey (from DeviantArt, Twitter, and Tumblr) for this amazing gif.

It’s time for round six of PMFM (Poptropican Meme Face Mondays)!

PMFM-Round6

The lucky meme-faced Poptropicans this week are Hench Bot, Golden Comet, and Shiny Panda! And here are the memes:

Feel free to click on the images to view them in their full glory. 😛

Want your own meme face?

Well, it’s simple. Comment on the most recent PMFM post (just choose the one of the list here). Be sure to follow the criteria below:

  • Very crucial: Wear the outfit you want to have in the meme face on Poptropica and keep it on for at least a week.
  • As mentioned, find the most recent PMFM post (it will be at the top of this list)
  • Include your Poptropican username in a comment.
  • Include the meme face you would like on your Poptropican in your comment (a link to an image of the meme is very preferred).
  • Post your comment and wait! (PMFM is operated on a first come-first serve basis, so your meme face will come after all of the ones before are released).
  • Just a note: You do not need to re-comment on newer posts if you haven’t gotten yours yet. Once I reply to your comment mentioning “You being added to the list,” then I have seen your comment and added it to my literal list, so yours will be made after each one before is made.

This completes round six of meme faces. Tune in next Monday for the next Poptropican Meme Face Mondays!

(Just a little note: next week PMFM is going on a break, so there will not be meme faces for users this upcoming week. There will, however, be a “Christmas special” – so stay tuned!)

What do you think about this week’s meme faces? Do you want one? Comment below.

A Menu for MPIP Stories & More!

Hey Poptropicans!

Over the past week or so, the authors here on the Poptropica Help Blog have been posting their Poptropica stories – how they came to Poptropica, its community, and the roles they’ve played in it. It’s called My Place in Poptropica (MPIP), and even the Creators have been enjoying them! 😀

Anyway, we’re extending this chance to tell your Poptropica story to you, dear Poptropicans of the community! If you would like to write your own “My Place in Poptropica”, contact us ([email protected]) and we may publish your MPIP story here on the PHB! From how you found Poptropica to how it plays a part in your life, we want to hear your stories!

Please include a minimum of 550 words, type with good spelling and grammar, divide it into labeled sections, and include your username.

If you missed any of the 9 stories the PHB authors have shared so far, here’s a list to link you up:

What else is new? Well, the menu on classic non-SUI islands (those not colored on the map) has gotten a revamp to be similar to those on SUIs (sound-updated islands)!

It’s now a chest like the one on SUIs and opens up in the same way, but it’s on the left instead of right, and the options are still different from SUIs. Cool, but will take some getting used to. 😛

Also, there’s a new ad on Main Street of Escape From Pelican Rock! Watch the video for Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip, and you’ll get an Alvin Outfit.

Over on the Daily Pop: could these sneak peeks be hinting at a personal home feature where we can show off all the island medallions we’ve earned and kick up our feet in cozy fireplace spaces? Hmm…

Catch up on sneak peeks from months and years past with our Daily Pop archive!

Anyway, that’s all for this post! We’ve had lots of posts recently, from news to MPIP stories to this year’s PHB Christmas Special, so be sure to catch up below and share your My Place in Poptropica with us!

Stay popping, Poptropicans. 😀
