Hijuyo here! The two mysterious members-only cards have been revealed to be a “Skullduggery Teaser Trailer” exclusive video clip and “Skullduggery Pirate” costume.

According to the new Poptropica Creator, Captain Crawfish wants everyone to know that, “Both the Skullduggery Island teaser trailer and the Skullduggery Pirate costume will be available for members beginning on Monday, May 3. Anybody who becomes a member before May 15 will get these exclusive items!”

Poptropica also has some chewing gum for the hyper people who just have to get their teeth on something. xD

First, the free one. It’s called the Classic Flavor Popgum, and you can blow floating, popping bubbles by pressing the space bar. This one is pink, and a demo version of the other gum mentioned below.

And the one that costs. D: This is the Cinnamon Fire Flavor Popgum, and like the first, it blows/floats/pops (in sequence) bubbles by pressing the space bar. These bubbles explode in puffs of fire (as seen in the picture), and cost 250 credits (or free if you’re a member).

Ahoy! What “arr” the Poptropica Creators up to this time? Posted on the official Poptropica Facebook page under the picture album titled “The Making of Poptropica”, is a cool sneak peek of some Poptropican characters you may encounter in the future!

Fear God, not man. 🙂

In the top-left corner of this picture, we see an old sailor with a green cap puffing on his cigar after a hard day’s work. Next to him is a simple-looking pirate cabin boy with a brown bandana wrapped around his head. And on the top-right, fearfully, are two pirate captains with golden peg legs!

The lower row of this sneak peek is occupied by four British (Redcoats; right)/American (Patriots; left) soldiers who look like they’ve stepped out of the Revolutionary War. Armed with guns with bayonets at the tip; you don’t want to get on their bad side! But freedom comes at a high cost, sometimes even requiring bloodshed… are you up for the battle?

For members, a new mythical mission awaits them on the latest Poptropica island -Mythology Island. To all the non-members (*high-fives*) out there, this island will be released FREE for everyone on April 29th.

Poptropica Creator Shark Boy says on the official Creators’ Blog that “We hope you enjoy it, this was a fun one to make. We have more awesome islands in the works, so stay tuned!” (More cool islands are on their way!)

Evidently, Vlad the Viking (another Poptropica Creator) agrees, declaring that “Mythology Island is the stuff of legends!” For those who aren’t members yet, he’s got them hooked with the official Mythology Island video trailer:

It’s no April Fool’s joke. Poptropica Members will have Early Access to Mythology Island beginning this Thursday, April 1!

Today, Dr. Hare showed us on the Creators’ Blog that your Island Medallion card for Reality TV Island actually keeps track of the amount of seasons you have dominated in on the island! Unless you beat Hippie Harry to fame and fortune, in which case I despise you.

Exhibit A: A common result of extreme boredness.

Dr. Hare continues to mock us in his post by challenging us to beat his high score of a whopping five seasons won. He then questions us how many times we have completed Reality TV Island, the latest island brought to you by the creators. He also probably should’ve asked us how many times we have been way too busy to even play Reality TV Island. 🙂

As the lazy boy I am, I am a 1-time winner. Tell us: how many times have you completed Reality TV Island? Haven’t even completed one season? What are you doing then? Head out to that island and compete! With guide in hand, you’re sure to overtake the bunny himself.

Aww, Sharkie Boy, we missed you. According to a review from one of the PHB’s readers, Ocean Clover♣, “Ooh, I bought the staff, and it’s AWESOME! When you’re in Costumizer and hold down the space bar, and hit cancel, instead of lightning, you get an earthquake! YAY!” Anyway, on the Poptropica homepage, it says “Mythology Island coming soon” with really cool lettering.

The description says:

Mighty Zeus, king of the gods, needs a hero — and he wants you! To satisfy Zeus, you’ll need to battle monsters, swim the depths of the ocean, and descend into the mysterious underworld. Will you emerge a hero like Hercules, or face the fiery wrath of Zeus and his thunderbolts?

Whaaat….in the WORLD…..is that emote??!!!!! That is just sooo totally AWESOME! The name of this pic is “straininghades03”, which tells us nothing. Although, don’t you think that the head of Hades is rather large? Strange…. But that EMOTE!!! Pulling backwards……red face…..it’s just incredible!

Not-so-fun Fact: At 350 credits (if you’re a non-member), the “Multiverse” is currently the most expensively priced item on the Poptropica Store. 😦
