You’re a Firework

Slanted Fish

Do you ever feel like a plastic bag, drifting through the wind, wanting to start again?

Make ’em go “oh, oh, oh” with the new Poptropica Store item… FIREWORKS!

From now until Labor Day (September 5th this year for the US), use this Gold Card item from the Store and let the colors burst as you ignite the night with a firecracker flash!

While you’re making the sky explode with this fun item, don’t forget to come party on the PHC with the rest of the Poptropica Help community on July 26th, where we’ll be celebrating this blog’s 3rd anniversary and hosting the 3rd author night at the same time! Check out the post below to get all the details (or just click here).

Shrink Ray Island

Shrink or Swim: Celebrating Poptropica’s 20th Island!

Slanted Fish

The Poptropica Help Network is proud to present:

Shrink Ray Island Resources: Guide | Videos

Is he trying to 'sea' whether this calamari squid can swim on land, or will it have to face the shrink ray?

Straight from the Creators’ Blog:

Shrink Ray Island is now available!

Poptropica Members have full access to the newest Poptropica adventure. Non-Members can also try out the special Early Access demo. Head on over to Poptropica and see what the big deal is!

Well, the fact that it isn’t fully available for non-members was a bit of a disappointment at our PHC Countdown Party, but at least the non-mems still get more than they usually do – an early access demo of the island! Paying members get to enjoy the entire island first, as usual. PHB staff member ElmoPwns has already written a walkthrough guide with all the Shrink Ray Island cheats, which you can check out by clicking here!

Shrink Ray Island is also Poptropica’s 20th island! HAPPY TWENTY, POPTROPICA! (And to think I could have counted the number of islands there were on one hand when I first started playing…) They’ve just released the trailer video for it, too, so take a look!

Remember: Being tiny can be fun, but don’t lose your true self and size!

Time is shrinking: the Countdown for Shrink Ray Island

Slanted Fish

It won’t be long now.

Thursday, June 30th, is the promised day for the release of Shrink Ray Island. There’s a countdown timer on the Poptropica homepage so you’ll know exactly what time it’s released, all the way down to the seconds.

So using the current time on the countdown timer and the time it is right now in your area, calculate what time it will be for you when Shrink Ray Island comes to life.

Then show up at the Poptropica Help Chatroom half an hour ahead of that time so the whole Poptropica community can count down with you in anticipation of the island’s release.

And when the time comes… we’ll all play together.

You. Everyone. PHC. Countdown party.

Be there.

Rockin’ with Rodrick

Slanted Fish

Rodrick’s band could really use your rockstar voice to win the talent show.
Will you do it?

Fans of Rodrick and/or his band, Loded Diper (from Diary of a Wimpy Kid), now have the chance to rock out with them in the new ad for Rodrick Rules! Or does rocks sound better? Rodrick rules? Rodrick rocks? …How about we just get to helping the band?

Thank you to PHB reader Electric Spaceship (theloudshark) for providing the video guide.

Flamin’Skulls 1st Anniversary and a Half Celebration!

Slanted Fish

All the band members were there. Tons of fans came and we had a phenomenal megaparty. We went overtime by double the time originally planned. The FS blog (almost) reached 20,000 visitors. Super Thunder gave the Multiverse room code, then Obiwan organized an attack on the walls and Xarr brought in the penguins. It was a flamin’ hot blast.

More details below, but for now, enjoy the picture.

Flamin' Skulls MEGAParty!

Thanks to everyone for coming and having a blast with the band! The Skulls – Popular Thunder (who brought in Super Carrot, the ultimate FS Pop account, complete with a torched body), Hijuyo (Silver Rock on Pop), Xarr (and his crates of Mr. Poppins’ penguins!), and ElmoPwns (the newest member!) – are really happy to have so many of you guys to celebrate with.

We want to thank the following for coming: MT, Obiwan2324, Shaggy Tornado, Super Thunder, Deathstalker, Raccoon Sam, Mad Moon, Coolguy123, Squeezy Monster, and anyone else who came to join our massive celebration on the PHC.

Rock on!
