Hey Poptropicans! Leggo see what’s goin’ on with Pop…

Checking in on my friends, polishing my island medallions—wait, hold up. What’s this? A new medallion?? That I don’t have yet??? Are we getting a… Lego Island????

Well, sort of. Our resident glitcher, idk (who also recently made a tool for the ASG), went poking behind-the-scenes into Poptropica’s files to see what was going on.

Here’s what he told curious Poptropicans on the PHC (our emphases added):

Poptropica will soon be advertising many different types of Lego products. So instead of creating disconnected ad rooms for each one, they’ve created a separate island to contain them all. And because every product line’s ads probably won’t be released simultaneously, it makes sense to create something which can be updated after its launch.

Lego Island just consists of a Main Street scene containing a door to an ad scene. It currently only contains an ad for Lego City, but there are a couple of unused item cards for Lego Star Wars. It doesn’t have a medallion so [I don’t know] why it showed up in the medallion list. The Main Street scene has an asset from [the canceled] Water Thrill Island though, so that’s neat.

So, that’s all we know so far about Lego Island: it won’t be a full-fledged official island like we know of them, but just a series of ads lumped together on one (probably temporary) island, to come in the near future. And there might be a water slide.

Hey Poptropicans, what’s up? 🎈 Are you going batty 🦇 from the lack of updates on Poptropica yet? LOL, aren’t we all! 😂

Well, for those of you with iOS devices who text with iMessages, there’s at least one update on the horizon. The Poptropica Stickers app will be getting an update in September, which is in about, um, two weeks (yay!). And you’ll get to send messages like the one above, because those phrases are featured in the winning designs of the #PoptropicaStickers contest!

PHB Pop-over Special: Night in the Woods

Hey Poptropicans! We’re back with another PHB Pop-over Special!

In case you’re not familiar with the term, a “Pop-over” is basically a Poptropica crossover, in which we take characters from another universe and make them into Poptropica characters. This Pop-over features the gang from Night in the Woods!

You can add these Poptropican-ized characters with the usernames below and Costumize parts of their outfits. For the rest, use the ASG, MAP, or iPop.

  • Angus: Add him on Poptropica at NITWAngus. Get the glasses from the Rockstar costume (use ASG: Snowball9_ASG4), and bear ears from realms#6ASG.
  • Mae: Add her at NITWMae. Get the Werewolf costume parts from the ASG Holidays:Halloween:Werewolf, and Jack/Jill O’Lantern shirt from idk_JillOLantern_ASG. The bass guitar is from the Photo Booth.
  • Gregg: Add him at NITWGregg. Get the animal head parts from realms#2ASG.
  • Bea: Add her at NITWBea. Get the animal head from realms#2ASG, facial feature from realms#6ASG, and mouth from Rosemoji6.

Night in the Woods (or NITW) is a T-rated (for ages 13+) adventure game with a gameplay style much like Poptropica, in which you explore an interactive world full of vibrant characters and stories. (Learn more and get the game—or its two free supplemental games, Longest Night and Lost Constellation—on the NITW website!)

Poptropica fans who enjoyed the mystery of Ghost Story Island or the atmosphere of Monster Carnival Island might like this game—at least I did. 😁

Poptropica Stickers Design Contest: Top 3 Soon…

Earlier this month, the Pop Creators announced the Poptropica Stickers Design Contest, with submissions closing on July 25. Now, they’ve announced on Instagram: “We’ve had so many great designs for the #PoptropicaStickers contest! The Poptropica Creators are reviewing all the entries and will be picking their top 3!”

The post came with a gallery of six of the #PoptropicaStickers entries:

“See You Soon!” by happyclonetrooper
“Hare We Go!” by PoptropicaHare (that’s us!)

It’s possible that these six are finalists, but from the caption of the Instagram post quoted above, it seems like these are just a sampling of the many great entries received, all of which are still being considered. The top 3 designs chosen will be included in the next update of the new Poptropica Stickers app for iOS Messages.

Hey Poptropicans! It’s Dr. Fish—uh, Slanted Hare—uhh, whatever; somebody with a funky animal name and honorific that only #RealPoptropicans would understand.

For those of you on the ‘gram, you might like to know that the PHB is now on Instagram, too! Well, sort of. We’re letting our fluffy friend Dr. Hare run the show:

Dr. Harvey Hare, as any #RealPoptropican can tell from the profile, holds a PhB degree in Poptropica help, so I daresay he’s qualified to post his hare-y selfies while offering Poptropica updates and other tidbits on our new PHB feed. Plus, he just won “Best Poptropica Worlds Character” in this year’s Poppies, and he’s pretty proud of the fact!

Ads for Poptropica… while playing Poptropica! And not just one, or two, but three of them! Now I’m not sure whether this is desperate, or sad, or funny, or perhaps a mixture of all three… but it does seem rather excessive.
