Wowie, the time sure goes by fast when you’re having fun. Beyond the realm of Poptropica, some of my hobbies include drawing, taking long strolls, collecting way too many cool things I don’t have room for, creating unique characters, and letting my imagination run wild in my daydreams. 📣 Your voice matters: Fill out the 2021 PHB Readers’ Survey! 📮

Howdy, Poptropicans, it’s LJ! Can you believe it’s already time for our yearly readers’ survey? Time really does fly.

I’ve noticed a lot of new community members pop up over the last half year or so, which makes me extra curious of what the current statistics are. Plus, we want your feedback! What type of Poptropica content entices you the most? Do you have anything you’d like to see on the site that we’re not already executing? Or are you just suffering from boredom and need to kill a couple of minutes?

The survey is here for you, and will be open until Saturday, April 10. That gives you 3 weeks to fill it out if you’re an expert procrastinator like me and need the extra time to get started. There are only 13 questions, though, so it should only take about 5 minutes to fill out — if not less. Your identity will remain anonymous unless you choose to share it in the comment box at the end. Anyhow, happy survey taking.

There’s been a lot of cool and cute things lately in my opinion! I really like the Golden Warrior costume, Leprechaun Wand, Reversible Octopus, and Unicorn Mug. There’s a wide selection of stuff available to non-members again too, so that’s a plus. Only 1/5 of the items are members exclusive.

In other news, the enticing daily credit login rewards we became familiar with since they were introduced last year have seemingly vanished. The pop-up is nowhere to be seen and it’s currently unknown if the credits are still being added to our accounts every time we login. Perhaps it’s a glitch? Any information on this would be appreciated. As for now, we’ll miss you, daily rewards…

Also, the Creators’ Blog has undergone a few formatting changes! For one, the sidebar has a new widget with the latest news.

Furthermore, the “Love it/Like it/Not interested” voting buttons have been removed from the bottom of posts, which I think is a real shame considering it was a quick and easy way to leave feedback for the creators. Instead, all we have now is a dashed line.

The last of the noticeable updates is a refreshed commenting form. Take a look at everything for yourself in the screenshots below:

According to Invisible Ring, one of Poptropica’s guest bloggers and a PHC frequenter, Poptropica may be moving to a new blogging platform soon. Here’s what she shared with us on the PHC:

Poptropica emailed me last night and told me that since they are moving the blog to a new platform… blog business is a little quiet now, but they will have new posts coming soon.

🌟 Popular Poptropican: Dangerous Dragon

Howdy Poptropicans, it’s LJ here with an exclusive interview with our newest Popular Poptropican!

Popular Poptropican (formerly known as Community Celebrities) is a series where we recognize members of the Poptropica online fandom for their exceptional involvement and participation in community events. (Check out some of our past interviews here.)

Now without further ado, allow me to introduce you to Dangerous Dragon, an active commenter who recently won my Pop The Difference contest and who has an impressive 5 guest posts on the PHB (from this year alone). Let’s get to know this rising star together.

Welcome, Dangerous Dragon! Tell everyone a little bit about yourself.

Hello! You might already know me, but I am Dangerous Dragon! I joined the community because I loved to search about Pop. One day on the homepage I saw “Blog” and it took me to the Creators’ Blog. Then I searched if there were more and that’s where I found the PHB.

What is your favorite island in Poptropica? How about your least favorite?

My favorite is Time Tangled. The story is exciting and fun. I love anything with Time! Also, it tells us about many events that took place in history. Bring the fact monsters back please!

For my least favorite, I will say Mocktropica because after what’s happened with Poptropica, the jokes aren’t even funny anymore. I literally played the island with my pet Leo. The pop coins or tokens also made it into the game as credits. I have no problem with it… it’s actually a fun island, but these two things are examples of jokes in the island not aging well.

With three winners of the Dream Island contest finally decided, which adventure are you most looking forward to?

To be honest, I’m excited for all of them. But if you want to know about the one that I’m excited about the most… it’s Secret of the Jade Scarab. I never got to play Nabooti, so this Island can hopefully give those similar vibes. The others sound fun too… Goofball and Fairy Tale!

What does your dream island look like?

Well, my dream island is Jedi Island. I actually already sent a post in for this but I don’t want to give spoilers, so maybe see for yourself when the post comes out!

Tell us what you enjoy about the Poptropica community.

I love the community as I love the competitions and friendly posts on the PHB!

What are your goals?

I would love to work for Poptropica as a blogger. My other goal is to become a writer or game designer. I guess I just love Poptropica!!! I would also love to become a staff writer on the PHB someday! Even if I don’t get to, though, I’ll still be guest posting.

PHB Special: Pop the Difference, Round 3 – Answers & Winners!

Howdy Poptropicans! A couple of weeks ago I posted 5 pairs of Poptropica images to see who could find all of the differences within them — where the quickest two would receive a drawing of their Poptropican by me. Let’s pop right into all of the answer reveals!

1) Inspection of the Imperial Garden

2) Casting about the Carnival
