Grand Western Realm Tour with Sheriff Invisible Ring ๐Ÿœ๏ธ

Hey Poptropicans, this is a guest post by Invisible Ring, showing us one of her biggest realms yet. The Realm code is w3qvy. Enjoy!

Howdy, y’all! Come fer the tour, have ya?  Well, yer in luck, pardners. Amidst these sandy grounds, we got dude ranches, ghost towns, campsites, and even a BEACH! All right here in the beautiful Realm of Keafogoab Sha!

Tickets are sold right here, and it just so happens we got some extra tickets from my fire and ice Realm tours! Buy these, and today’s rootin’ tootin’ Realm tour is free!

But I know what yer thinking: “What are the tickets for?” They’re for the train, that’s what!  This Realm ain’t like the others. Not only is this Realm the first one I made after growin’ up in Asgard, but it’s a BIG Realm. VERY big!  There’s no WAY we can cover this whole Realm on foot, so we’re takin’ the train today.  ALLLL ABOOOAAARD!!

For our first stop, we have the bank. Try finding a wild west island without one! But with a bank, there’s usually an outlaw who wants to rob it! So, where’s the robber?  Did the Buccaneer Banker scare her off?

โ€˜Fraid not, โ€˜cause the robber’s already in jail!  Your local Sheriff (that’s me) caught that crook in the act of robbing the Arabian Nights campground tent last week!  And I don’t mean just the poptanium inside that tent. She tried to run off with the ENTIRE TENT, so you see why I just couldn’t let that one slide.

Next stop, my sheriff’s cabin; the oldest Western establishment in this here Realm! Here is where I built this humble abode I nicknamed “Wild Rock” and completed this scene with a western cemetery.

But fear not! Nothing grave engraved in THESE tombstones.  Some Western cemeteries are like that to attract tourists rather than drive them away. Try this one! ahemโ€ฆ

“Here lies Daredevil Dan,
Cockiest Bullfighter in the Land.
He was so entranced by the great crowd’s awe,
He backed right into the bull’s mother-in-law!”

How’s that compared to the Haunted House Island cemetery of the olden days? I reckon the biggest difference is that there are no ghosts here. We do have ghost TOWNS, though. Here’s one straight out of a ghost town bookโ€ฆ

Also, here’s a ghost town made of cardboard.  I know how this one came up. Several years ago, our local Westerners fell on hard times and built cardboard shelters, just like in the Great Depression.  But after finding new resources of poptanium, they abandoned this place and built new suburbs to live in.

However, based on the newly doused campfires, I’d say some people come back to use this town as a campsite and a rest stop every now and then. Speaking of rest stops, it’s lunchtime!  Let’s break for a bottle of milk and a bite to eat and then continue the train ride!

If you don’t like the rations in this part oโ€™ town, there’s always something tasty at our county store. Why, it was that very store where I raced across these desert sands on foot one morning of last fall to buy my ticket back into Realms in the FIRST place! Ah, that expedition was an adventure all on its ownโ€ฆ  But donโ€™t go on any CRIMINAL adventures here.  There are cameras everywhere in this shop, so thereโ€™s no sense robbing the joint.

Full steam ahead! No really, it’s literally as windy as a hurricane! We have to go full power just to push through it. Thank goodness we have a windfarm to make use of all those hurricane winds. Especially the Grand Windmill; the special landmark of our Realm.

ARRRRGH, the wind is getting too strong! Too many dust devils! MY EYES!! I canโ€™t see the railroad! Hit the brakes! Put on your bandanas and take cover! Find a sanctuary!

Whew, found it! I guess it’s just like the Good Book says, “Ask and ye shall receive.”

Oh, what are the odds โ€” we’ve stumbled into the church, of all places.ย Well, thank the good Lord that we have one. Surely weโ€™d have a lot more to worry about than the wind without it!

While we wait for the storm to pass, Iโ€™ll just check the bulletin for this Sundayโ€ฆ The parable of the mustard seed, eh? Now, thatโ€™s a mighty fine lesson for us all. Reminds me of that old saying “from little acorns grow mighty oaks.” I reckon that mustard seed can grow to be something even BIGGER, even though it starts out even smaller than the acorn!

Say, that reminds me, we’ve got something huge like that growing in one of our suburbs. Now that the wind’s just died down, why donโ€™t we go out and see it? Here it is! A huge tree, surrounded by some of the many suburbs and playgrounds of this realm.

โ€ฆAnd here’s where we got the poptanium to build them with. Welcome to the mines, pardners! Yes sir, way back when we were hiding out in that box-town, we worked these mines day and night to rekindle this old ghost town Realm!

I even discovered a SECRET poptanium mine with the potential to rekindle ALL my Realms, but that’s a tall tale to be saved until after the tour. Indeed, every Western town needs resources to thrive, lest they remain a ghost town. And here in Poptropica Realms, poptanium is that resource.

What’s that? How do I know so much? Good question! You see, we’ve got a school here in Wild Rock, too. We’ve got lots o’ books in there, including a book about ghost towns!  That book in particular really guided me in redesigning this Realm, pardners.

Schools are important, yes, but do you know what the most important part of Wild Rock is? It’s the iron horse ranch! You see, this train we’re riding is brand-new, which means these horse-powered steeds were our Realm’s only means of transport for years!  Without these black beauties, we wouldn’t have been able to travel across this sweltering realm and find all the resources we needed to build it into what it is today.  We wouldn’t have even acquired what we needed to build this train.

Now I know what yer thinking:  Has this train replaced the iron horse? No pardner, it has not.  Here in Wild Rock, there are still many wild terrains you can ride with yer horse that you canโ€™t get to by locomotive.  From rivers to mountain forests to lush desert gardens, thar be plenty of sights to see to make yer bronco ride a wild one!

And throughout this realm, you’ll find several watering holes (or gas stations) for when you and your horses need a drink!

Whew! I think I need a drink now, too! Touring a sweltering hot realm is thirsty work! Hang in there, buckaroos. We’re gonna beat this heat on our next stop!

Here’s the beach! The perfect place to cool off, catch some waves, or even to challenge some pirates in the annual cardboard regatta boat fight!

On the other side of the beach lies a fun campsite where the natives let us practice targets and play camp songs. So, what are you waiting for?  Go out there and have some fun!

โ€œNice camp song, Sheriff!  Are you singing that for tonightโ€™s concert?โ€
โ€œConcert?  What concert?โ€
โ€œThe Country Western Concert!  Itโ€™s happening right now!โ€
โ€œNOW?? Dad GUM!  I forgot all ABOUT it!!โ€
“Hurry! You can still make it!”
“Darn right! I know a shortcut! I’ll meet you there!”

“Whew! Made it! Just in time to get a drink before my country song!”
“What’ll it be, pardner?”
“I’ll have a root beer. A&W, please.”
“Good choice!… Oh! the ‘Rock Me Momma’ song’s wrapping up! That’s your cue! You better get up there and finish that remix!”
“You got it, bartender biker!”

๐ŸŽถ “Country Road, take me homeโ€ฆ
To the place, that I BELONGโ€ฆ
Pop-tropica, Realms and Islandsโ€ฆ
 Take me home, country road!”
๐ŸŽถ

“YAAA-HOOOO!”
“YEEE-HAAAA!”
“Encore! ENCORE!”
“Hooraaaay for Invisible Ring!”

Thank you, thank you very much!  And thank YOU for coming aboard to my Western tour! But before you take the train outta town, allow me to tell you about the secret mine that revived all of my Realms over a drink at the bar.

They call this mine Gasdusfoun Goszeesse. Itโ€™s a Realm full of poptanium! From fall 2014-2018, I got my poptanium solely from mining my OWN realms, until one day, I found I could get poptanium from public Realms too!

While most Realm-builders shared realms full of poptanium bars, THIS Realm was a public Realm full of poptanium chests!  This gave me the most poptanium in the fastest time out of ANY goldmine I ever found, so I saved the code 4zyy4 and have mined there ever since.

Thatโ€™s all, pardners! Yer welcome to stay the night with me at this here inn or just take the train on outta here and see the rest of this mega-Western realm in the process! The choice is yours:  A panoramic view of all my Western scenes out the window, or the in-flight Realm tour video.

Come back soon, yโ€™all!  I reckon youโ€™ll enjoy my NEXT realm tour, too!

P.S. Take a look through the slideshow below to see the Realm in its full glory:
