Lalaloopsy Mystery Bananabee

Hey Poptropicans!

There’s currently a Lalaloopsy ad on Main Street of Escape From Pelican Rock, and it’s a common room building. At the top, you’ll find two dummies of doll costumes you can costumize from!

Interested in more free stuff? A website called TechSavvyMama is giving away a prize pack of Poptropica stuff to one lucky raffle winner, in celebration of the release of Mystery of the Map! This includes the print copy of the graphic novel, a 6-month Poptropica membership, the Poptropica blimp toy, and Dr. Hare plush toy. Follow the link in the tweet below to enter.

Also, in addition to the MotM book event in Massachusetts on March 10 (details here), there’s also another chance to meet the author (Jack Chabert, the alias of Max Brallier) at the Barnes & Noble in Rochester, New York’s Pittsford on March 26!

There’s also some monkey business going on at Night Watch Island

But we’ve got more news and sneak peeks on these escaped Monkey Wrench lackeys coming to you in another post, so stay tuned! In the meantime, be sure to get your very own Night Watchmonk follower outside of Bananabee’s on Main Street. (Note: Mysteriously, the booth is not showing for some people – if that’s the case, use a different web browser!) 🙊🍌

Stay popping, Poptropicans!

  1. When the Creators said that there was going to be a “surprise” on Twitter yesterday, I thought it would be some huge announcement. But it turned out to be this. I’m not mad about it, I was just expecting something bigger. The monkey followers are cool, though!

  2. Apparently, there are also two new advertisements in Poptropica: Another We Bare Bears ad and an ad”Alvin 4″.

The We Bare Bears ad is the same billboard video clip as before, but the reward is slightly different in that the Bear Stack is only one of each bear:
I first saw the ad only on my alternate account, so it may be age-restricted and only accessible to younger players; I saw it on Early Poptropica and Home Island, although I can no longer find it.

The second advertisement is “Alvin 4”, or Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Roadtrip. I found the ad on Night Watch Island, but it may or may not be found on other non-SUIs. You watch a video and earn yourself an Alvin costume:

    Who else hates lalaloopsy?

      1. Me. Here’s a tip for people who WANT to like it. Don’t get your friend to tell you about Caroline. *Shudders*
I’ll be under my bed if you all need me.

What's popping, Poptropicans?
