Welcome to another wonderful week of āPoptropica Help Blog Sneak Peaksā. TheseĀ postsĀ are posted every week on Sundays. In every new post there will beĀ stories that only we have. And only we post them. TheseĀ stories are classified and are very secret.
This weekās story is āZoo Mascotsā, its a follow up of the last story ‘Monkey Madness’,Ā about the mysterious animals around Poptropica.
-Monkeying Around-
Give me a ‘Z’, give me an ‘O’, give me another ‘O’. What does that spell?
Wind was rushing past his face, chilling his spine and making his hairs stand on end. Codien was still flying in the stolen aeroplane that once belonged to the, now quite angry, Pilot of Nabooti.
Over the past hour Codien had flown past different landscapes, each flowing into the next. Large coal hills glinting with diamonds, large enough to be mountains. Gloomy trees surrounding an abandoned village. A spectacular waterfall creating a beautiful rainbow from the falling droplets of water. Codien finally decided to land his aircraft when he saw a familiar sign of a Safari Park.
He wasn’t going to land when he remembered he had seen enough animals, in one spot, to last a lifetime, and he was still trying to get the brown stains off his shirt. But he decided against it when he saw a strange man running around in circles shouting. Curious, Codien touched down the planes wheels and jumped out off his seat to see what the problem was.
When Codien got closer he relised it was Big Zeke, the guy from the brochure who owned the Safari, who was in a frenzy. Codien ran up to him and asked what on earth the problem was. Big Zeke told him about the strange animals he saw out in the wild, and when he went to take a picture he relised he left his camera behind. He had searched high and low and had not found it.
This was Codiens one chance to help this awesome Poptropican, Codien remembered he once got a camera from him. Out of his bag Codien produced a sleak digital camera. Offering to Big Zeke, he held it in awe and his eyes lit up. He span around and jumped into his truck. Codien quickly followed him and clambered into the back just in time before he sped off into the distance. Racing through the safari the passing trees were blurs. After a short trip, Zeke skidded to a halt behind some trees. In the distance Codien could here faint music. Zeke and Codien creeped closer, making there way closer to the noise. Closer, and closer they found themselves hidden behind an opening. The music was being played in the opening.
Peeping his head over Codien saw the strangest site. 4 animals were dancing, singing, crowing, and roaring to a stereo being played. Well at least codien thought they were animals. He noticed that two of them were just Poptropicans in costumes. Memorised by the groups routine, he worked out that they were rehearsing a dance piece. Before Codien could step out into the opening a tiny whisper from Zeke motioned him to come back to the truck.
When Codien entered the truck he found Big Zeke disappointed. Asking why he looked so down even though he got the picture, he told him that the mysterious animals were just a traveling group rehearsing for their show. He reached down below his chair and pulled out a poster showing the group advertising their show. Disappointed the two drove back to the plane and Codien found himself flying in the air again.
This is a sneak peak of either some new costumes fo a new island (I don’t know what one), or an advertisement. Its most likely these are from a new island coming out because Poptropica showed us the Lion outfit, and they don’t usually show advertisement costumes. But what island?
So these are the animals i promised. You can see the Lion from the Poptropica Creators Blog sneak peak. But their is also the rooster and a sheep, plus the monkey. Silly monkey. My favourite is the lion. Also the rooster outfit reminds me of Kelloggs character rooster.

My guess is that it’s for the funny French-themed island. We don’t know what that one is quite about yet, so it seems the most likely.
It COULD be for an ad, though, but it I don’t think it’s that probable that Poptropica will release ANOTHER ad!
BTW, I think Disney is trying to brainwash another perfectly good game! NOT COOL š¦
Yes, I hate how Disney advertisments brainwash and ruin a lot of games.

I think it will be an island than an advertisment….. i dont know why but we’ve had a lot of advertisments lately espesially from DISNEY! But the islands we are focusing on are Astro-knights , Reality TV, French theme and now (maybe) Animal island or the animals could be in Reality beacause some are dressed so it could be from an animal set on the island.
I swear, there is going to be like a zoo island. Maybe you need to become a zoo guide and all of the animals escaped, and you need to find them. My idea is really dumb, but it would be really cool if there was such a thing!
Also, i too think that Disney is being a little overpowering on poptropica. maybe poptropica is going to merge with Disney to form a new island?!?!?

If Poptropica and Disney merge to make a new Island, I would quit Poptropica ISTANTLY.
I agree. Disney, in my opinion, is getting a little power-crazy. Or maybe it’s money-crazy? Either way, I think it’s bad.

It helps to keep track of who’s talking to who. š
I’d like to mention that they might be making this part of an island. One, remember how we had to solve the carry-the-animals-across-the-river thing, and two, it could be part of a medieval ceremony.

Sheep Don’t Belong In A Zoo? They Belong In A Farm. I Doubt That They Will Make A “Zoo Island” Because At Some Time They Have To Tell Us On The Creators Blog Or Something When An Upcoming Island Will Soon Be Out. Doesnt it seem like many things have been happening on Poptropica latley? I mean new ads like every day, new posts every day, (usually they don’t do posts on the creators blog every day, unless a new island is coming out,) and a new island…
Maybe more changes are coming faster than we thought?!?
That could be possible. ALMOST every day though… not quite every day. Maybe the Creators don’t want us to think they’re lazy. Or maybe they just have more time? Who knows. š

Yeah me too … i would’nt quit Poptropica if Disney took over,but IF they charge money like Club Penuguin, I don’t now what i’d do without Poptropica!. But i do like ads!
I’ve noticed that the Creators mostly only post on weekdays unless there’s something special going on like a holiday or the release of a new island.
As I said, on an article it said there was supposed to be 10 islands by the end of ’08, so they’ll probably speed up the process now.
Some of the creators probably work at home on the weekends.
My favourite is the lion too!! I wonder if the rooster will be holding anything too if so i wonder what. Because the lion was holding a mouse in the cropped sneak peek……

No, i wouldnt. I really do not have a problem with disney, and the only way i might possibly quit is if they ever charged money. I would probably get the membership, and tell everyone on the blog about the new islands that we would get to see before everyone else!

I wouldn’t if Poptropica didn’t change too much (just a Disney logo beside the Poptropica one), but if Poptropica was barely recognizable I would definately quit! š¦ Let’s hope the Creators will have some sense and not let Disney take over, even if they DO keep advertising…
Like Spider Girl, I wouldn’t unless they charged money or they changed it so much that it’s not fun anymore. I’m (and apparently a lot of people) hoping that that doesn’t happen.

the lion and the bird are special costumes from the shop! the lion roars and the bird has different colors.
