“The Villain Saga” – Episode 7, Part 1

FADE IN.

INT. UPPER FLOORS OF EREWHON PRISON – AFTERNOON

RAVEN and WIDOW are both sent back into their cells, RAVEN holding another pie plate. A few days have passed since the last episode.

The guards who brought them up head back to the elevators. The two prisoners stay silent, listening by the doors as the elevator descends.

Once it’s gone:

RAVEN

Finally, they got chocolate this time!

WIDOW wipes some crumbs off her black suit–most of the characters are still wearing their signature outfits, with jackets or name tags or some other identifier over them. After all, no point in looking recognizable if you can’t ever escape.

WIDOW

I think I’m going to get…hypoglycemia, was it? Those things have so much sugar.

RAVEN finishes the pie plate and tosses it to the side of his bed. A fairly respectable pile of tins has formed there.

CUT TO RAVEN and WIDOW’S prison cells again. From both sides of the wall between the cells, we can see that both are sitting on their beds, WIDOW listening to the end of RAVEN’S story.

RAVEN

And…yeah.

(con’t)

One of the people here undid the hypnosis on me, and that’s it.

WIDOW

Ah. That’s…a lot.

RAVEN

Pff. It’s okay, most people don’t know what to say either.

(He leans back on his bed, staring at the ceiling.)

I sure don’t know what to think.

We open inside the window of a shop. A couple dusty toys are on display, but there’s a shiny, new ninja robot in the center of them all, with all kinds of buttons to do different actions.

A small girl with short, unruly black hair peeks into the window, gasping with joy when she sees the toy is still in stock.

CUT TO CRAWFISH, sitting in the medical ward. He’s taking a close look at pretty much every item in sight as the doctors try to corral him to the table.

CRAWFISH

What’s this? Why do you have so many hollow ropes?

DOCTOR #1

They’re just tubes, ignore those they’re not–

CRAWFISH

Why are all of you wearing white? Don’t’cha think a darker color would be better with all the mess?

DOCTOR #2

It helps us notice any stains, now–

CRAWIFSH

Yea, that’s my point. You can simply hide it!

The DOCTORS all grimace.

“The Villain Saga” – Episode 5, Part 1

FADE IN.

We open on a wide shot displaying Erewhon Prison. It’s a rare non-stormy day, where bits of sunlight can actually be seen through the fog. The island is in perpetual shadow, but you can just barely tell it’s afternoon.

CUT TO inside the prison, on the first floor near the doors. Only a couple guards are stationed there, one sleeping and the other playing a game of solitaire on a work computer.

The camera heads to the elevator, then speeds up the building. We at last arrive at Floor 13, where a guard is leading DR. HARE into the medical and testing side. The doors to JUPITER’S strange machinery remain closed and locked.
