According to the ending of that video from the PoptropicaCreators, as well as Poptropica’s official Shrink Ray Island info page, Shrink Ray Island starts on June 30th! It didn’t say whether that applied to members only or to everyone, although we can assume they meant the members first (but you never know, right?).

The 20 rarest items in Poptropica

Good news, everyone: Shrink Ray Island launches on June 30!It’s hard to believe, but Shrink Ray Island will be the 20th Poptropica Island. That’s a lot of adventures — lots of characters to meet, foes to battle, and items to collect.In the time since we introduced Early Poptropica, some items have been harder to find than others. To celebrate our 20th Island, we’ll be counting down the 20 rarest items in Poptropica. How many of these rare items do you have in your inventory?

20. Brain Hat

The cell phone on Nabooti Island holds many secrets. If you dial 411 and then make a call, you’ll find yourself with all the information you could ever need!

19. Viking Suit

The Viking Suit is tucked away in the upper righthand corner of the Viking time period on Time Tangled Island. It’s not necessary to complete the quest, so some Poptropicans missed it. To get the Viking Suit, equip the glider from Leonardo’s workshop, and then glide from the Viking mountain until you land on the ledge with the suit.

18. Multiverse

It’s the priciest item in the Poptropica Store, but the most versatile. With the Multiverse, you can create your own room and invite your real-life friends to chat and battle.

17. Nabooti Mask

To celebrate the launch of Nabooti Island, we hid this mask somewhere on Spy Island for a short period of time. This isn’t the only treasure hunt item that will show up on this countdown!

Tomorrow, we’ll count down the next four items!

 Couple of big things are announced here. The first and most exciting one is that Shrink Ray Island kicks off on June 30th! :D. Members will be able to play the sheer awesomeness of this new science island! You get to turn small, make your way across a giant world, and stop evil masterminds from taking the shrink ray…sounds fun :D. I can’t wait to play the epicness of this new island!

In the meantime, it is also noted that it is de 20TH ISLAND!!! To celebrate that, the top 20 rare list has begun. Get ready to view four rare items every day, all starting from top 20 to the number one! Many of these items might even be leaks from islands like Monster Carnival, a never released island that came off the map. I wonder if they’ll post any leaked items like the bat wings or unicorn horns and such.

The 20th, 19th, 18th, and 17th items on the top rare list! Number 20 is the Brain helmet. Veteran players will remember the phone on Nabooti island. Type 411 to get the brain helmet. There are also other phone codes, which can be found on the cheat codes page.

Number 19 is the Viking Suit. Arm yourself with axe, chainmail, and helm to look just like a medieval viking! This can be obtained after several attempts of getting the suit on Time Tangled island. You just have to get a good positioning and glide over to where it’s located. Again, not neccessary to complete the island, but it is a cool edition to your costume collection :).

Number 18 is the multiverse. Sure, it might cost the most, at 350 credits. But you can create your own rooms for friends and such to party in. It’s like a private multiplayer room, also why it costs so much.

Number 17. was the nabooti tribe mask! This ancient helmet can be obtained actually in TWO ways. You could’ve gotten it during that short period of time on Spy Island. You could also costumize the group of nabooti hunter ghosts that appear on Nabooti Island before you talk to them!

Guess who’s back from Washington DC!!!! It’s Shaggy Tornado! Hey guys its really good to be back here! 😀 I’ve been so busy with homework, school, my DC trip, it’s just been hectic! But summer has come upon me and I can come back!! Thanks to GA, who replaced me and I’m sure he made a bunch of pretty awesome posts!! To all the new authors(and old ones too), glad to be working with you! (again XD).

Redeem the code!

Hi, it’s Elmopwns here. I’m here with a new post on how to redeem your code from any Poptropica toy! If you don’t know about the Poptropica toys yet, see Hicoga’s last post (complete with a nifty looking picture. nice job :D). Anyways, every toy comes with a special hand held item to use in your online game. So your getting a virtual item as well.

They can only be obtained by buying the actual toy and redeeming the code that came with it. The creators have done a new post detailing instructions on how to redeem your virtual gift!

How to redeem the code from your Poptropica toys

We’re hearing that Poptropica toysare starting to show up on the shelves of Toys “R” Us stores all over the place! Hopefully you’ve had a chance to check them out in person. But you may be wondering how to use the code that comes with each toy, which gives your Poptropican cool new powers and costumes.First, make sure you’re logged into your saved game. If you don’t yet have a saved game, create a new character, press the round “save” button, and create a username and password. Make sure to keep the username and password safe!

Next, you can enter your code in one of two places. When you log into Poptropica with an existing account, you can enter your code in the lower righthand part of the screen.

Or you can visit the Poptropica Store by pressing the star icon in the top right of your screen. The place to enter your code is located in the upper right.

The code works the same way in either place. Once you’ve redeemed it, go to your in-game inventory and select “store items” from the dropdown menu to use your new goodies.

Last, and most important: Enjoy!

So it’s pretty self-explanatory. You enter the code by clicking the star and typing in the promo code, and then you get a new gift or power! Thanks for the instructions, creators! The virtual items have a long range of things:
  • Sir Cador
  • Dr. Hare costume (Does that mean they fixed that cheat to become Dr. Hare?I better go check…hopefully not!)
  • Shark Boy costume
  • Stealth Agent
  • Spy Agent
  • Crystal Crusader
  • The Green Hawk (Note: you can get this via playing super power island, but the green wires that comes with the costume cannot be obtained)
  • Captain Colbat and Crimson (come with flying parrots…ftw!)
  • Booga Shaman (I’m pretty sure you can costumize him on Shark Tooth Island)
  • Shark Surfer
  • Dr. Hare hand held toy
  • Hare spell! It brainwashes anyone you control! Too bad it actually doesn’t brain was them…jk 😀
  • Cool kid hand held toy
  • Cool kid power, cameras flash for you since you’re “cool”
  • Shark Boy hand held toy
  • Jump the shark power, throw a fish and try to get it over the shark!

That was the list of all the powers, costumes, and hand held items you can redeem by buying a toy! Note: If you want costumes, the 6-inch plastic toys are for you! If you want powerss or hand held toys, the plushes come with those!
