Happy Update Day!

Shaggy Tornado

We’ve got a whole BUNCH of updates for you today! Let’s go through them one by one starting with…

~~~
1: MONEY LADDER!
Money Ladder made its debut today!
This game is like Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? It’s a trivia game that tests your smarts on the outside world, not just Poptropica. Lifelines are also available for members only: the Professor, the Athlete, and the Starlet, all robots. Money Ladder has three levels, and you have to answer each question correctly to advance!
Once you pass all three levels, the prizes arrive! They are the Robot Dance, the Robot Costume, and Binary Rain! Available to all!!
Robot Costume: This costume has no special action, but it looks awesome with its bright glowing futuristic look!
Binary Rain: When you activate this card, a rain storm of binary numbers comes pouring down!
Robot Dance: Activating this makes your character bust a move and do the Robot!
Good luck in passing this minigame! 😀 On to our next update, which is…
~~~

2. HAUNTED HOUSE!

Have you noticed the Haunted House gold card lately?

One: It’s free and Two: There’s a bubble that says there’s an ALL-NEW PRIZE! Want to know what it is? Go to the angel and enter the party below. You’ll find this!

Zombie costume! You now get to zombify other Poptropicans and costumize the costume for yourself! Unfortunately, it’s kinda stuck in the wall… People speculate that it will release on the first day of October, so wait to find out! 😀

EDIT: Zombify has now released! Get out there and become one of the undead! 😀 There’s also a new guest at the party: a zombie who says “I’m feeling dead on my feet” (Thanks Mstorm/Mbones/Madrigal!)

Can’t wait for this costume! 🙂 Another update for today is…

~~~
3. LION KING AD!
The Lion King ad is here, in celebration of the Lion King in 3D releasing in theaters for two weeks only.Walkthrough provided below:
People say that it’s available on Shark Tooth for all ages. You have to beat Simba, Timon, and Pumba’s scores for diving in the splash zone! You have to follow the beam of light and collect bugs on the way to increase your score. Your prizes are Simba’s roar and Rafiki Outfit!
Have fun beating this ad! 😀 Our last update is…
~~~

4.  Multiverse!

Many people report that Multiverse is now free! From being the most expensive, at 350, to being the cheapest, at 0! Get out there and get it before the offer expires! 😀

Have fun partying with friends! 🙂

That’s all the updates we have for today. Thanks so much to Striped Grape and LS for the pictures and video walkthrough! 😀 Hope you have a great October!

LEGENDARY SWORDS!

This happens to be a brand-new adventure that is exclusively available in the Poptropica Store! This  is the thing that the sneak peeks in the Daily Pop have been leading up to! 😀 According to the video, there’s another planet in the Poptropica universe with the legendary sword. We pull it out, and we get to fight robots. The E.VILE robots!! This is actually what they’re for! 😀 I’m so excited for this, Game Show Island, and Mystery Train, which releases October 7th! Get ready, for this will be an exciting end to 2011! 😀 Gameplay details and release date will be revealed soon, so stay tuned!! 🙂

Also, PAW12 discovered a booth on Time Tangled Island about the Poptropica Official Guide, which releases on Oct. 13!

If you click it, it will take you to buy it for yourself! Remember, you WILL need this to do the scavenger hunt on the website! First clue is on Oct. 13!

Lots of exciting things will be happening this October! In the meantime, get reflexes ready, and prepare yourself for the things to come! And most of all, have fun! 😀 This is ST, signing off. Bye y’all!

The party’s still going strong but…

Green Boa

…all good things must come to an end. Like:

  • Your birthday
  • MY birthday
  • Granny’s birthday!
  • School oops school is NOT a good thing.
  • Your poptropica membership
  • your insane sister’s trip to somewhere far, FAR, FAR away.
  • an adrenalin rush
  • Poptropica 911 (for those who remember 😥 )
  • the can of coke

So does the month of September. The month of september is ending in 2 DAYS. 😥 You know what that means… these Member only costumes in the Pop store will soon go away. Forever. Never to come back. *sniff* I, I… *blows nose* I’m sorry, *sniff* can we stop the tape? *sob*

*CUT TAPE*

It’s almost time to blow out the candles

Time flies! Poptropica’s fourth birthday celebration is almost over. The limited edition costumes that have been re-released to the store for the month of September are about to disappear. GB: 😥 I told you! *sob*

These costumes are available until the end of the day on Friday for Poptropica Members. Even if your Membership ends in the future, you’ll still have the costumes to keep forever.

So what are you waiting for? If you’re a Poptropica Member, visit Poptropica and pick up your exclusive costumes from the Poptropica Store!

If you’re not yet a Member, find out how to become a Member today. Besides these limited-edition costumes, you’ll also have Early Acess to all new Islands, including Mystery Train and Game Show Island!

Our birthday may be almost over, but you can bet we have a lot more fun in store for Poptropicans in the months and years to come. Why, it’s still September yet, and we told you the Legend was coming this month. Tomorrow, we’ll let you know what that is!

Game show island’s first game

Green Boa

Hey everyone! to add a little fizz to this post today I’m going to talk while this random man I found in my shower dances behind me in a 100% cotton gorilla suit (Do not dry clean) while juggling my birthday cake ( it’s sometime VERY soon but won’t reaveal exact date cus of stalkers).

*random man dances and juggles*

*GB sips cappachino*

(if anyone wants to know why the random dude wants to dance and juggle in a 100% cotton gorilla suit, don’t ask me)

So now, let’s see the PCB post. *random man dissapears strangely*

Climb that ladder

Get ready to climb the ladder…

The Money Ladder, that is! This all-new mini-game is coming soon to Poptropica. Keep an eye on this blog to be the first to know when you can play Money Ladder!

CAPTAIN CRAWFISH

This will almost undoubtebly be one of the games in “Game Show island”. Robots use money from this game to take over the world. Strange? Yes. Kinda strange? Undoubtebly. Too awkward to be put on Poptropica? NO! Here’s why…
  • It’s Original
  •  and Exciting
  • Novel
  • Unbelievably logical
  • It could happen in real life!
  • Completely random and some people like that!
  • It’s better and easier to understand than plants going evil and eating everyone
  • There might be lemon qutarrns!
  • It will increase game show popularity
  • There’s gonna be a robot war!
  • We’ll get to be on TV!………… again
  • We might see Dr Hare again! ( why or how I have no idea… but we might!!!)

*Sips cappachino* Ahhhh. Now this is the end, so just to make sure you all leave, I will treat you to some of my terrible singing and songwriting!

Most words have a friend,

Who rhymes them til the end,

Sometimes they have more,

than 2 or 3 or 4.

Fun has a whole heap,

and so do peep, sleep and sheep!

There’s even a friend for orange,

who lives upon the door hinge.

But what about month?!

He lives out in the gunth,

Not a friend in his life,

you can see he is in strife.

I’ll stop now since everyone has undoubtebly run away. 🙂

The All-New Island Is….

Shaggy Tornado

Wait for it…..

Wait for it….

PIE ISLAND! 😀

Not the real island 😛 The name of it is…

GAME SHOW ISLAND!

All the info was posted today on the official island page!  http://www.poptropica.com/island-tour/gameshow-island.html

Welcome to a future where robots rule. Building computers to compete on TV game shows seemed like a funny idea – until the machines wanted more. Now, after years of robotic dominance, Poptropica needs a savior. Are you clever enough to beat the robots at their own games, and restore the dignity of all Poptropicans?

Sounds interesting! Looks like the “super-smart robots have taken over the world by winning all the money and prizes from game shows.”  (PCB) This is probably the island where the E.Vile robots originate and where the Mr. Yoshi stuff come from. IF you remember all of the Daily Pop sneak peeks about robots and such, this is the island! Can’t wait for this one! 😀 More info will follow soon!

~~~
Two new members-only costumes have made their way back to town too: The Cryptids Nessie Hat and the Hypnotic Costume!
The Cryptid Nessie Hat was only obtained if you happened to spot the Loch Ness Monster in the Cryptid minigame! This was one of the rare prizes. The hypnotic used to be obtained by clicking the middle window four floors up from the ground on the green building in Poptropica Towers on Early Poptropica. It’s still there, but if you click on the window, it will say member’s only. This has been noticed by many PHB readers. Get them while they’re hot, because you only have a week to date to get these elusive costumes! And if you haven’t got the 4th birthday costume, keep trying! 🙂
