Hopefully, you will read to the end of this post; I want you to be ready for what will soon hit this blog – I am HPuterpop; awesomeness unleashed.

I’ve been playing Poptropica since 2007; that’s the year Poptropica started!  I am a kid who loves to read, write, edit, and anything else involving the word “creative”.  I will try to serve you, the viewer, with lightning fast updates, Poptropica memoirs, and reviews! 😀

Why are you here, you ask?  I’m the newest addition to the PHB.  You could call me a Renaissance kid, or a Poptropica fanatic… anyway, whatever you call me, I’m so excited to be a part of the Poptropica Help Blog legend. I used to comment here when I was a (smaller) kid.  I went by the name “Puterpop” and had a big mouth.

Now, a little about me…  I draw all the time, and I do it digitally.  I will create art for anyone who asks, and am always looking for jobs.  I also write a good bit, and not only for blogging.  Mister Monster is my main site, where I post most of my material.  I’ll put links at the bottom of the post for more of HP goodness! And I’ll have to explain my name some other time.

Ooh my my, baby don’t be shy… (Smurfs 2 ad!)

*listening to iPod as I dance to the computer* I see that spark flashin’ in your eye, my heart beats fast cause I want it all, so baby come with me and be my Ooh La L- *trips over chair* Ouch. Oh look, a new Smurfs 2 ad. What a coincidence. *pulls out noisemaker, blows* Time for my first piece of news!

The Smurfs have returned to Poptropica! On the main street of Poptropolis Games, you can find The Smurfs 2 ad, with a new questline since the movie just came out on DVD.

After you do the questline, popping bubbles with Smurfs in them to win, you get two prizes: a costume (Brainy for boys, Smurfette for girls) and Gargamel’s Wand, which allows you to, well, hold it and look cool. Honestly, after holding this item, I felt all like…

They see me rollin’
They hatin’
Patrollin’
And they tryin to catch me ridin’ dirty

I then proceeded to parade around the island, doing my best Gargamel impressions and showing off. I don’t know how I can survive for 5 seconds without showing off.

Samwow5’s Take on the Poptropolis Games 2013!

Hello everyone! Recently Poptropolis Games 2013 came out, not to our surprise, so I’m going to do a review of the whole island and what it has to offer!

Overall Gameplay:  A-/B+

The game was great, like last time. But I wished they would have changed it up for the WINTER Olympics to make it more fun instead of pretty much the same thing.

Soundtrack: A

The new soundtrack was awesome! Great detail into the music, even they have rock sounds in this island! But what I dislike about it is: When your intense mode and trying to focus, you hear this relaxing music and it annoys me. Still very well made!

Skiing and Octopus Volleyball: A

The games were amazing, but I wished they added a touch that will blow the others away. Like, you can ski over different surfaces and avoid stuff (BTW that was pretty hard). Very great games though!

Bonus Quest: B

Same as last year, still wish they would have added more. Anyway, the bonus quest was awesome, but that wrestlers is kinda scary looking O_o xD

If you don’t live in the US, use this time converter to find what time the party will be in your time zone. For US residents, the party will be at 8pm EST, 7pm CST, 6pm MST, 5pm PST.

Bring your Santa hats, candy canes, and other Christmastime gear! Get ready to battle in Multiverse rooms, add some new friends to your list, and maybe even win a rare costume prize! Hello, world of the PHB! I’m so happy my good friend Slanted Fish aka Fishy, invited me to join the best blog in the world! You might know me from writing guides here, on the PHB, or from The TIB, my personal blog. To help Fishy I will try to post at least once a week. Here’s a little info about me:

I’m a 14-year-old boy who lives in the southern U.S.A. I love baseball, soccer, and swimming, but most of all God! I have been playing Poptropica for 4 to 5 years now, and my username is Samwow5. My music interests are Owl City, Neon Trees, Maroon 5, Flo-Rida, The Wanted, B.o.B, Nelly, and Bruno Mars.
