If you’ve played Ghost Story Island – which recently won the title of Best Storyline in an Island in our Poppies Awards Show – you may recall the hauntingly beautiful tune that was Fiona’s violin song.
The music was so moving it even inspired an hour-long challenge of that song in a YouTube video by user Kaydorable1, with thousands of views. (Update: That video has disappeared. Instead try this video below from The Bruhtasticks!)
And this was before islands were released with ambient music!
Over on a sheet music website called MuseScore, a user called iwasborninjuly has uploaded sheet music for the popular Poptropica melody, which you can view and listen to at this link.

Hey Poptropicans! Didn’t we look snazzy on that header? Well, the first ever Poptropica awards show, the Poppies, is now over, but we hope you had a blast at the red carpet! Thank you to everyone who made nominations and voted – you guys made an impact in the results for the event, and for that, you can enjoy this Poppies Participant paper-craft trophy created by Spotted Dragon! If you haven’t already, be sure to check out Blake’s PHB post for the announcing of the winners, which includes HPuterpop’s livestream with several others on the PHB staff. During the party, we also had several Multiverse rooms filled with impeccably dressed Poptropicans, and the PHC (our chat) was pretty lively in anticipation of the winner announcements. Check out the recap montage! 😀
To give everyone a better chance at being able to make it to the celebrations, we hosted an after-party as well, about half a day after the first one. In addition to the Poppies, we also celebrated the PHB’s 7th anniversary. Happy birthday to the Poptropica Help Blog! The Multiverse rooms were filled with balloons, soda pop, and lots of lag. But at least we were having fun!
Also, thank you to everyone who voted for me as Best Author; I’m deeply honored. :’) Spotted Dragon even sent me a foldable Poppie for my award, and it looks pretty Oscar-esque! ❤
If you can prove your Poptropican name is Golden Dragon, the winner of the Best Poptropican Name category, SD will personally send you your own Poppie. 😉

Hello, Poptropicans. Welcome to the most fabulous night in Poptropica, maybe even awards, history. Tonight, your winners will be revealed for the first ever Poptropica awards ceremony, The Popp- oh, it’s already the day after the show? Okay.
Anyway, what’s popping, Poptropicans? Blake here, with no Poptropican news this time; more of a recap. As you can see by the title, today I’ll be recapping the winners from last night’s awards phenomenon, the Poppies. Let’s head straight into the awards, shall we? Please welcome, to present our first award, Thinknoodles and- wait, what do you MEAN none of our presenters were invited? I’m going to have to announce the winners BY MYSELF?!

A Creator is someone who puts everything into their work. Zeus, Captain Crawfish, they all work to keep Poptropica running. Tonight, we honor one of those Creators with the first Poppie ever. I’m bear-y excited about these details that I’ll be reveal– what, we’re not doing that anymore? Oh. Ok. Well, we’re nearing the end of the Poppies, our very own Poptropica awards event, and you guys have spoken! (Haven’t voted yet? Now’s your chance!) We’re going to celebrate the winners with a couple of fun parties, the details of which are below:
The climax of the event will happen on the Saturday of this week – the 25th of July at 8:00 pm EST (that’s 7pm CST / 6pm MST / 5pm PST)– starting with a livestream hosted by yours truly, where I’ll be announcing the winners of the awards. At the same time, you can mill about on the PHC chatting and joining Multiverse rooms with other awards show attendees! For this, we encourage you to formally dress up in your Poptropican best: ties, tuxes, dresses, and all!
We’ll also be having an after-party on the PHC on Sunday, July 26th at 10:00 am EST, so people have a better chance at making it to at least one of the two party times. Plus, Sunday is the date of the PHB’s 7th anniversary, so come in your 7th birthday balloons and join our Multiverse rooms!

Anyway, the nomination round of the Poppies is now over, and we here at the PHN have taken a look and narrowed each award category to five of the most popular options suggested by all you readers (with some exceptions).
