Welcome everyone to the second round of Stolen Snapshots!

For the newbies, Stolen Snapshots is basically a hide-and-seek game that tests your knowledge of Poptropica scenery, and it’s up to you to guess where each picture is from!

I’ve seen that a lot of you had a hard time guessing those tricky snapshots that I’ve left last month. What’s more depressing is that none had perfected the snapshots! I wouldn’t want you to wait this long so, here are the answers for last month’s snapshots!

Answers for April 2016:

24 Carrot Island, a recolored version of the carrot cake in the billboard in front of the factory.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Island, one of the hanging pots inside the Inventing Room.
Mocktropica, a painting inside the common room: The Blue Locust.
Red Dragon Island, in East Edo, the bird on top of the shogun statue.
Vampire’s Curse Island, inside a hole in the Great Hall (accessed by members only).
Night Watch Island, near the shark tank inside Crawl Mart.
Mocktropica, on top of the cheese factory.
Shrink Ray Island, one of the windows in the cafeteria.
Virus Hunter Island, Joe Stockman’s stove in his apartment.
Monster Carnival Island, one of the crates in front of the big tent.

Here are *some* of the winners from last month. Since there was none who guessed them all correctly, here are the ones who guessed at least one correct answer! Congratulations!

Tall Cactus with 1 correct answer!

Another thing: I want to ask is that if you guys prefer to have this monthly or biweekly. I am considering this so that a lot of people can play Stolen Snapshots because if it’ll be monthly, the game could get buried underneath a lot of posts. If it’s biweekly, it’ll be quite hard when school gets busy, but it’ll be better for you guys. Would you like it to be that way or nah? Leave your suggestions below!

Now, let’s move on to this month. Ten snapshots might’ve been too difficult, so I’ve reduced the number down to 5 — although, the number of snapshots may vary each month!

Make sure to read the mechanics down below, as well as the reward for correctly guessing them all!

Mechanics:

You are only allowed to have 1 answer for each picture. You may leave your guesses in the comments of the post or the PHB’s Stolen Snapshots page.

If the answer is wrong, you can try and comment again.

There are 5 winners each month, to be featured in the next post.

Anything unrelated to the snapshots will not be accepted.

Po-tropica and the Map Medallion

Hey guys! It’s a new author here bringing you some (slightly) old news!

In celebration of Kung Fu Panda 3‘s release for DVD, there are two new ad item cards available in your inventory! Po Follower is, well, a Po follower, and Pandas Everywhere makes all Poptropicans onscreen turn into pandas when spacebar is pressed.

Po please stop making that face.

Also, some of you may have noticed by now there is a new medallion… “Map”.

map — This may or may not be an excuse to show off how many islands I’ve completed.

What does this mean?! Is it a new quest where we must visit every single island? Is it another island based on Mystery of the Map? Can you receive it upon completing every island? Whatever it is, it definitely isn’t the result of classifying the new map as an island in the code. *cough* 😉

Finally, Poptropica retweeted a video from EthanGamerTV, a popular child gamer on YouTube with over 800 thousand subscribers. In his video, Ethan plays Poptropica’s tutorial Monkey Wrench Island (which the PHB recently reviewed here!), for the first time. (He also may or may not be a hot dog.) If you’re interested, check it out below! It’s quite professionally made.

Hey, Poptropicans!

I’m Mighty Gamer, as some of you may know. You can call me Emily, MG, or just plain ol’ Mighty Gamer. Whatever works for you! Yes, the post title is correct. I am an author on this blog now, and I’d like to thank Slanted Fish and ultimately, everyone else on the team for the invite.

Now, to tell you a little about myself.

I’ve known about Poptropica since I was a young girl, when I was about 7. Though, I have taken a few breaks from the game at different points in my life. I won’t bore you with the details, but if you want to read my MPIP, you’re free to do that, too.

I’m a 15 year-old girl slightly obsessed with the internet. Ha, yeah, slightly. Let’s go with that. I like online gaming and Steam, reading, writing, and I enjoy drawing, even though I don’t do it that much. Oh yeah, and blogging. I guess you could say that’s why I’m here today! Well, and Poptropica, but that’s pretty obvious, I’m sure. 😛

I enjoy making friends and being friendly, so I hope I can be exactly that to everyone. I also have my own blog, Explore Collect Compete, and I work on Poptropica Tips. I made ECC on November 15, and was invited to Poptropica Tips last month [April]. I was apart of the MPB “squad”, too, but now the blog is inactive. At least for now.

And since this is a Poptropica blog, I’ll share some info on my characters. My main account MightyGamer126 has 57 islands completed, and is a member. My second account, DianatheHunter, is not a member, and has 24 islands completed currently. You can add them both, if you want. Both have the same names and signature look, which you can see above.
