Don’t worry, it’s not a real chicken! XD It’s just the new PCB post! …About a chicken alarm!

You do need a good chicken alarm now and then.

Yes, you’re all thinking O_o, WTH?, and all that. XD Just what kind of island uses a stuffed, unreal chicken for an alarm?! Will we be facing a Jurassic Island? Mansion Island? We’ll have to wait and see. 😛 BTW, did anyone notice the broken egg and barbed wire on the tree? XD Some of our commenters have suggested that this could be a trap of sorts.

Hijuyo: In other news, the PHB’s Second Annual Halloween Costume Contest has just closed. The judges are excited to see the 100+ entries we have received, and we have good news for everyone: YOU get to play a role in the judging!

During the next week, the judges will get together to decide on TEN finalists. This will then go into a poll that we will post on the PHB (watch for it next Friday, October 15th!), and ANYONE can vote on who they think has the best costume.

The poll will end JUST before Halloween (which gives you 2 weeks of intense competition!) so we can announce the winners on the night of scares! 😀

FishHooks Ad — Welcome, freshmen... to Fresh Water High!

As I was doing Steamworks Island on one of my accounts, I came across an ad — Fish Hooks! It’s an original series on Disney Channel that apparently premieres tonight! It’s a little quest where you have to find Bea’s yearbook picture and switch it! If you need help, here’s a written walkthrough:

Enter the tank and talk with Milo, Oscar, and Bea. They need help finding Clamantha. Bea gives you a replacement photo for her yearbook picture, and Milo gives you a note to distract Clamantha saying Oscar needs to talk with her alone. After you get those 2 items, walk right into Hokey Poke *snigger*
Talk to Shellsea in Hokey Poke Restaurant, and she gives you a key to the yearbook room. Exit and then enter Freshwater High.
Walk all the way to the end, and use the key to unlock the yearbook room. Enter.
Avoid the giant pearls being shot out at you but make it quick, because there are lasers that block the doors every 5 seconds or so. They get removed once all the lasers have blocked the door. Once avoided, walk into the photo room. TIP! If you have minimizer, use it then run straight across on the ground at pearls part.~Jane
Talk to Clamantha and give her the note that Milo gave you. She says she needs to leave right away (because she has a crush on him) and leaves the room. Click on the photos.
You have to find the photo in 15 seconds or you lose. If you find it in time, you win the quest! Your rewards are an Underwater Effect, which, when turned on, makes the screen fill with water that stays on until you turn it off, or leave the room you’re currently in; and an official Fish Hooks T-shirt! Congratulations! 😀

Islands found on so far: Steamworks, Mythology, Early Poptropica, Super Power (If you find any more island with this ad, just comment below!)
Age Limit: I think any age will work… I found it on my 12 yr old account. 😀

As you probably have figured out, it’s Poptropica’s birthday this month! The Creators’ post yesterday about their surprise has been revealed!

(Poptropica was founded in September 2007. The exact date was not announced, but since these birthday balloons were released on Sept 15, it may have been officially released on this day – or it could be just that it’s the middle of the month. ~Hijuyo)

Happy 3rd birthday, Poptropica!

Some of our agents may have already figured it out — it’s Poptropica’s third birthday this month!

Thanks. For today’s next update, there is a new ad called Pair of Kings! So far, it has been seen on Skullduggery Island, and might be for all ages. I saw it on my 12 year old account and also my 8 year old account. The kings have been kidnapped and you have to find them in a cave maze while avoiding tarantula people, mummies, and volcano lava geysers.
