More strange shenanigans are happening on social media: Poptropica just awarded a Very Important Poptropican (VIP) badge to Pop fan Mighty Rock (who’s active on Instagram and Twitter) — reviving the VIP program that hasn’t been touched in over 5 years!
The Official VIP program launched in 2017, offering the right to display a spiffy badge, sneak peeks to share of then-upcoming Crisis Caverns Island, and promising more perks that never materialized, such as VIP sites being linked to from Poptropica’s website. With this development, will we see more of the VIP program in the future? As one of the OG VIP sites, here at the PHB, we certainly hope so! 🤞
