Hello, fellow Poptropicans! I know the Rumpel’s Challenge side quest just opened up for non-members, and while I was looking at a picture in the walkthrough, I happened to notice a few interesting things.
First off, from the Home Island quest, where did Xavier’s statue go? Did it stay in the pond in our backyard where we confronted Xavier? I have an answer. In the top right corner of the treasury, Xavier’s statue lies half submerged in gold. Did Rumpelstiltskin steal it from our backyard?
What if Rumpel dressed up as Xavier and stole the statue? And what is up with that big bag “Xavier” was carrying — was it gold? Looks like the treasury had lots of gold. What if Rumpel was stealing more?
Next, why is there a golden pineapple in the lower corner of the treasury? Sure looks like one of the starter items from when you first get your clubhouse. Speaking of which, where do those starter clubhouse items even come from? What if Rumpel stole them from the treasury of Fairytale Island and sold them to the clubhouse dealer for profit?

Well, I if you look at the bottom where the king was imprisoned, the cell next to the words “in a column or he’ll stay caught “ there is a throne, like the one where the player says Rumpel’s name three times and he turns into a shadow monster. Sorry about that just saw it and thought I should mention it. Great theory by the way!
Yup — the throne room in Fairytale Island looks suspiciously similar to the castle’s treasury…

Everything makes sense here, but if Rumpel was dressed up as Xavier and stole his statue in the Home Island quest, why would he give us a house (our clubhouse)?
