If you haven’t heard the hype, Astro Knights Island has been released! But, not to the general public, of course. You have to buy an Astro Knights Early Access Pass to get in. The island will be released to everyone on June 10th, so you don’t have to wait that long to play it! Personally, I have bought the pass, but will you?
Also, I know that most of you have experienced difficulty logging on Poptropica the past few days. Dr. Hare has properly addressed this problem:

In fact, they fixed it right in a jiffy! It should be readily working now, and you are able to log in without the stupid machine constantly telling you that your name is forever nonexistent or to check on it later only to find it still repeating the same message like a broken record. 🙂

ANYWAY, they have made updates to the map to suit the newly debuted Astro Knights Island as well as Reality TV Island. It does note that it is coming Summer 2009! Very cool!
It sure is getting quite crowded on the map. It would be cool to have a huge Poptropica Planet, and you could rotate it to see all of the islands. 😀 That reminds me… how are you able to travel to all of these islands all over the planet in just a simple blimp?
Next on the agenda, we are now able to sign up to be E-mailed when Reality TV Island releases! Yay! Unfortunately, we haven’t gotten the E-mail for Astro Knights, but predictably, we will get it on Wed., the day it releases for everybody.
Also, on the Poptropica website you can now see that the little Astro Knight and Reality TV Island buttons have been updated based on the recent news:

1. I can’t find any of the planets! I found the jungle one, but the rest of space loses me! (and it FREAKS ME OUT!!!)
2. Mer lin will follow me in the mill, and on the spaceship, but he isn’t above me anywhere else! (Besides the planets, where he stays on the ship.) But, HELP ME!!!

Go to the library in Non-fiction look for a slightly light brick and press it. the floor should open. Go down and get the cheese. Come up and [you need the Small key] go to the mill stand in between the two haystacks to split them apart. Open the hole with your key and go under. An owl should fly out. Go to the castle and go in the left door. The princess’ assistant should be in there [if not, go to the right one] set the cheese down and the mouse should come over and freeze. It should become in you inventory. Go back to the mill and the owl should be waiting. Release the mouse right under the owl and it should chomp. The owl will follow you. Go in the hole inbetween the haystacks again. Brake the wall to the left by pushing it and go in the open tunnel thing. The robot thingie should self-distruct and it will blast. Make sure the owl is in there with you. Get out of there and get back in. The owl will be with you so click it and then click the green glow thing that looks like the glowstick in Early Poptropica except it won’t be glowing lightly. You will collect the fuel stick.

I know I’m not Smockers, but I’m past that part. You go to Mordred’s Hideout (where you got the owl) then you go all the way to the left and push to break the wall, then enter the small tunnel-door-thing and then the robot or whatever should self-destruct and then you click the owl once, then click the fuel stick.
Green Seal i need your help. i need to get past the mud and i am at the windmill place i think.
Okay, so you have to jump on the wind-things on the windmill (the things that move when the wind blows) on the left side, and keep jumping to the one above you, then the semi-circle shaped blue door on the top should open. Then enter the door and there should be a red hovercraft which goes out of the room as soon as you get in. Get out, then the hovercraft should be flying above the mud and you should be able to ride it.
now i need help with when you find the alien spaceship in the mud.

I mean I can get to the UFO but I can’t power it up.
The hovercraft isn’t going. Instead, it says “It probably needs something to power up.”
I solved a lot, but I’m stuck at what to do. Mainly I can’t find the green stick OR the gold coin (for museum admission).
The gold coin is in the fountain, look for the sparkle
to power the space craft in the mud requires the green stick but the hover piece needs manure you can get it from the guy holding the spade fearless paw

Merlin is a sorcerer’s name. Hedwig is a much better name.
When you’re at the dundgon click on the owl and touch the fuel rod ( the glowing green thin stick ) . Then the owl will bring it to you. Good Luck!!

You don’t need to help the guy with the books at all! This is pretty complicated to explain, and you’ve still got a lot to do.
I’m talking about when you get into space and land on planets. Did you see the sneak peek of the flying unicorn with a laser? That’s what I’m talking about.

i defeated mother pheonix…first u have to keep shooting the lasers n avoiding the bee kinda things then when mother pheonix shoots the red things move up or down to avoid them.when u get closer to mother pheonix move up or down,keeping the left mouse button pressed.when ur rite in front of her release it on time to hit her. do it 3 times n shell fall to the ground!!!!! gud luck folks!!!!

I have not played, but have found out this:
To defeat the dragon, climb the chans to get to it’s left. There should be a lever. CLick it. The dragon’s mouth should open. Shoot your ice arrows into it’s mouth until you defeat it. Hope that helps! 😉
shoot rapidly when the bugs come or dodge, dodge all the lightning clouds and missles, and when mother phoenix arrives shoot 3 fully charged blasts

First you shoot and dodge enemies that come and dodge lighting.Then you kill the mother phoenix with three fully charged blasts with the laser lance.Don’t forget to dodge her attacks.Oh by the way how do you beat the fearsome beast at the fire planet?
Green seal: If you hold down on the mose button your laser will charge up. the, shoot mother phoenix in her mouth!

First you have to dodge all of the bees and lightning bolts then when the Mother Pheonix appears hold down your mouse like your about to use the Laser Lance but don’t let go yet keep holding on for about 5 seconds to do a super shot then when the Mother Pheonix opens her mouth let your mouse go so the shot goes into her mouth. You have to do that 3 times before she finally dies and then the knight guy will congratulate you and say he will accompany you on your trip. Hope that helped!
I’m not Smockers, but when the Mother Phoenix comes out,hold down the left mouse button and let go of it.Keep on doing it and soon everything will fall off.

Green Seal, when the Phoenics Bird opens its mouth quickly shoot a lazer and it should go down. Do it again 2 more times and it should be destroyed

i think defeating her is easy.
I’m up to the part where you still have the fire and ice planets. I can’t get to the ice planet at all, but I heard something about a fish. On the fire planet, one of the platforms is impossible to get to. Can anyone give me tips? I already beat the jungle planet.
Lure the space sharks one by one into the black hole. It’s time consuming, but possible. On ice planet, jump across the icebergs,advoiding the fish. pass to the next room. Jump upwards to the top advoiding the rolling Giant snowballs. talk to the knight who will give you the force shield, and when the tigercopter comes bounce the snowballs off your shield so they’ll hit him. That’s Ice planet. But I’m stuck on the last platform on fire planet. srry for bein so long

All of the platforms are possible to get to on the fire planet. It’s true! ON my 15th try I got it! 😉

Theres another thing u get in the museum. Its a missing page from Mordred’s journal. Look under the bed.
The fuel stick u get from that robot that self destructs. Use Merlin to get it.

All you have to do is go to the windmill get the rope go to the castle tie the rope to the arrow(on the castle)and hit the prinsises room run acros andgow in get the message go to the museum then click under the bed.:))
For the fire planet you just go to the very edge of all of the platforms and when the platform is at it’s highest, you jump. It may take a few tries, though.

Do you have the little owl, Merlin? I can’t explain it unless you have him. You go to Mordred’s Hideout, all the way to the left, push the wall, enter. The robot explodes, go as far left as you can, the click on the owl then the energy rod.

What the heck to you need an owl for, anyway? I mean, really, a dog or cat would be smarter! And WHY?
ST: The owl helps you get the fuel stick you’ll need, for one thing. And AK Island is medieval-themed, so maybe that’s why the chosen animal is an owl instead of a dog or cat.

The cutie (owl) won’t come out of th ship when I go to Poptropica! When I first got Merlin, he only followed me around the mill! And now he only follows me in the ship! Merlin is defected! AHHHH!!!!
you have to defeat Mordred first before Merlin goes out of the ship but he will help you battle Mordred and when he gets out of the ship in poptropica after you defeat Mordred he will not follow you anymore.

It’s possible to get on it.When you get on the second to last platform, you wait until the last platform goes down then you jump onto the last platform, then you jump onto the volcano and go down.
I am not sure if you are already passed abut those who might be reading this, To do something with the dragon…I know I was doing something but I don’t know how.. all I know you get behind it and get to the lever On The Dragon and you pull it… I think that did something try it…don’t worry.. I am sure I spent more then an 1 hour with the Dragon. The Space Sharks– You have to make the space sharks close to the black hole. You can read that on your screen computer thingy it you rocket ship ‘Even the space Sharks can’t even resit the black hole.’
But every time I pull the lever the lever goes back up!

With the moldy cheese from the dungeon (if you don’t have it, press the piece of paper under the mcm in the library) place it in the room with the maid, the mouse should come to you, then go to the owl, release the mouse and the owl will do what you want, click on him then where you want him to go
What do I use the key on?
ST: It’s for the entrance to Mordred’s Hideout, which is under the hay at the windmill area.
On Mordred’s lab/hide out between the hay stacks.

You go back to the third-last platform, then just as it’s going down, you jump with all your might to the right. Don’t worry about the second-last platform.

i encounted the same situation like you when i played on my own pc but when I log in on another pc to play it was fine i got save and quit. I also wanted to ask someone if they know about that as well.

ST: You need the library card from Mordred’s Museum on Main Street first. If you have it, then the secret dungeon will open up for you. 😉
Please can someone tel me what to do once i have the key and the library pass. The other stuff are not important. I am at the part where I need the glow stick for the UFO. I’m not like there, but I’m at the UFO right now. Help me.
click the papers above mcm in the library in the non fiction section. go down the passway you will find cheese.go to your right and pull the switch behind your head go to the castle and go to the bottom left door. set the cheese down. the mouse will eat the cheese. click the mouse and you will have him. if you have the key go to the haystacks and move them you will find a passway thing. click use on the key you will be underground. if you dont have the owl click on it you should have it now. the owl will fly away. follow it. when the owl is still click release on the mouse. you will have the owl. go back underground and keep pushing to your left until the wall breaks. enter the room. the robot will self destruct. click the owl then click on the glow stick. there you go. and by the way on the ufo put 56 in x and 52 in y.

How do I get past the Mother Phoenix?
When you get to the Mother Phoenix, you have to charge up your laser ( By holding down your mouse) Then unleash a huge blast! The Mother Phoenix will flinch. Keep doing this a couple of times and then she will fall and shut down. 😉

Answers-
Mother Phoenix- Hold down the mouse to charge the lance. Release to fire. Do this to the Phoenix 3 times and you win.
Ice Planet- To get the sharks away, get close enough to lure one away. Let it chase you and don’t go too far away from it. Lead it to the black hole. It will get sucked in. Do this for all the sharks.
TigerCopter- It will drop snowballs. Make the snowballs bounce off the force field and onto the TigerCopter. It will fire a blast at you. Dodge it. Now it will throw snowballs and icicles. Dodge the icicles, but do the same thing with the snowballs. Once you have hit him with snowballs 3 times, you win. Remember: If the force field runs out, dodge everything until it recharges. Also, if you touch the TigerCopter, your force field automatically disappears, and you must wait till it recharges.
Question- I can’t make that last jump on the volcano planet. When do I jump?
oh you jump right when you start going back down. it took me a long time to figure that out!

to defeat the dragon, u have to go behind the dragon by hanging on the chains and then u have to jump and turn the switch on his back and then shoot the ice arrows on his mouth. good luck!!!!hope i helped!!!

I discovered a funny cheat! On astro-knights, go to the fountain and entr the code. (This cheat will only work if you know the code.) As it slides down, click on it again. Enter Black Hole, then , without pressing Sun, close it. The water will be gone from the fountain and you will be under the fountain.

You have to climb the chains and go to the other side of the dragon. Dodge the ball and pull the lever. The dragon’s mouth will open. Fire the ice arrow in. Do this 3 times and you win. You must do it quickly because as time goes on, the temperature goes up. When it gets too high you must start over.
And what in the world do you have to do to get off of Astro-Knights island? (Meaning how do you get to another planet).

At the windmill there is a man outside that gives you a bag of manure. Take it; you will need it later on. Now if you get in between the hay stacks and push them away you will see a hole. Go in. (this guide requires you to have journal page with coordinates and library slip.) Push on the left wall until it breaks. Now click on the owl and exit. Go to the castle and through the right door. Go to the section that says McM and click on the papers. A passage will open. Go into the dungeon. Get the cheese, pull the lever, and exit. Now go back to the castle and open the left door. Put the cheese on the ground. The mouse will come. Now go to the windmill. Give the owl the mouse. Now go through the hole. Go into the place on the left side. The bot will blow up. CLick on the owl then on the green rod that the bot dropped. Now exit the dungeon and the hole. Go on top of the windmill. When you jump on the blades, they turn. Keep them turning left. The top will open up. Enter the top. Stand in front of the machine and use the manure. Now exit the top. The machine will be flying on the mud. RIde it to the spaceship. Land on the spaceship and click on it. Drag the green stick into place. Enter the coordinates and click on LAUNCH. BLAST OFF!

Dodge Mordred’s spinning green blades and circle things that he throws. Occasionally he will stop his green blades and make bomb-things. Pick one up and fly above him. Time it just right so that when you let it go, it explodes on the green orb. WHen it starts flashing, you know that it is about to explode. Do this twice. He will shoot Merlin down. Now you are the person. Jump on him to reach the princess’ platform. Jump either right or left and land on a chandelier. If he is under you when he shoots his laser, the chandelier will fall on his head. Do this with the other chandelier. Once both chandeliers fall on him, you win!

AK Island didn’t meet my expectations, but it was still the SECOND best island, in my opinion.
The best island is Nabooti, for me.

Nope, you just have to use you head. A tip: Try to make it so that the only two gray squares left are on both sides of a corner square. That way, when you click on the square, you get it!

You have to charge the lance by holding the mouse down. When it is glowing green, shoot it at the phoenix. If it is on the left side of the screen, you can’t shoot it. Just dodge it until it goes onto the right side.
i know i got it. i didn’t know that you had to charge it but then i figured it out.
no you have to shoot it in the mouth.

Mordred=Binary Bard. He captured the princess to try to force her to be his bride. I don’t think he was trying to rule the world though…
On that picture Staffan15 posted, it said “King Mordred: Master of the Universe” so, that’s what I thought. And I’ve only done the phoenix. So I didn’t really get it.

Above, I have posted how to beat some bosses. I am making a walkthrough.
Here’s a walkthrough. I can’t remember where I got the rope, so that’s up to you. But I’ll continue from there. Jump in the 2nd floor of the fountain. You will get a coin. Go in the museum. Use the coin. Go to the 2nd floor and click on the books next to the bed. Take the library slip. Exit the museum. GO to the castle and climb up to where the archer is. Use the rope. Aim to the left and shoot the arrow toward the door. When the arrow hits the door, climb along it and enter. Take the paper in the chest and leave. Enter the castle. Go in the right door.Go to the Nonfiction section. Find a sign that says McM and click on the paper beneath it. Go down the stairs into the dungeon. Take the cheese, pull the lever and exit. Get out of the library. Go through the left door. Use the cheese and get the mouse. Talk to the woman. Get the paper on top of her chest. Exit the room. Go to the top floor and enter the throne room. Talk to the queen and select the bottom option to get the coordinates. Exit the castle and go to the windmill. Talk to the guy with a shovel to get a bag of manure. GO in the windmill and talk to the black and white woman. She will give you a paper with a moon, planet and star on it. Go back to the fountain on Main Street. Click on the plaque. Push Planet, Moon, Star, and Sun to enter. Enter the secret room. Talk to the person on the far right and get the key. Go to the museum and click under the bed. Go back to the windmill. Get in between the hay stacks and push one to the left, one to the right. Use the key and go down. Click on the owl. Push on the left wall until it breaks. Enter the dungeon. The robot will blow up. Exit the dungeon and hole. Outside, use the mouse. The owl will start following you. Enter the dungeon. Click on the owl then on the green tube that came out of the robot. The owl will get you the tube. See my response to comment 43 for more. Now Go inside the building and ask the alien if you can build your own ship. GO outside and build your ship. Once you’re done, go inside and click on the LAUNCH lever. The coordinates the queen gave you are where you should go. See above for what to do on the bosses. In the Jungle Planet, Walk on the swinging platforms and jump on the eggs without getting knocked off. On the unicorn, Dodge Black Clouds, Yellow Bugs and Phoenix Rockets until you reach Mother Phoenix.
Onthe ice planet, Dodge piranhas and snowballs until you reach the TigerCopter. See above for how to beat him. In the fire Planet, hop along the platforms and enter the volcano. When the wind is blowing, get out of it’s way. When it stops, run until you find shelter from the wind. Keep doing this until you get to the Dragon. See above for how to beat him. Also, to lure the sharks away, see above for instructions.
When you beat all 3 bosses, go back to Poptropica. Then blast off again. Find the Jungle Planet and go down until you reach the asteroid belt. Find the Asteroid Planet. On the Asteroid Planet, Jump up and click on the Key. Enter the Portal. Talk to the princess who is really Mordred in disguise. Figure out the puzzle (I’ll have more on that later) and go inside. See above for how to beat Binary Bard. Once you beat him, go into the throne room in Poptropica and talk to the King and Queen. TADA!

What castle, what rope, and what library?
THe queen gives you a paper with 3 coordinates on it. Those are the coordinates of the Ice Planet, The jungle Planet and the Fire planet. The castle is where you are when you go right from Main Street. The library is the room you get to when you enter the castle and go right. Go into the first door you see and you are in the library. When you are in space, go to the planets you see. To get the sharks away from Ice Planet, read what have posted above. There are 3 planets at first and there is a boss on each one. The Fire Planet has the Dragon, the Jungle Planet has the Atomic Phoenix and the Ice Planet has the TigerCopter. I posted above how to beat them. When you have beat all 3 bosses, the Asteroid Planet will appear. Mordred is the boss.

The fountain on Main Street. It has a bottom part and a top part. I was referring to the top part (2nd floor). Or did you mean the 1st and second floors of the castle? The 1st floor is on the bottom, the 2nd floor is where you are when you go up the staircase.

Jungle planet with phoenix is X:15, Y:15, Ice planet with tigercopter & space sharks is X:73, Y:83, & Fire planet is X:83, Y:20 (I think). I’m sure about the 1st 2, but I’m doing this off the top of my head. The queen gives you the coordinates.

Umm… how do I get a ship?
Do you mean in the moon? Just go inside Astrozone and ask to borrow a ship, design outside, check the speed and shield, press done, enter the ship and launch! If you’re stuck on the island, there are plenty of guides.
When I place the green rod and put the coordinates it says not enough fuel to reach then the planet.
Did you put X:56 & Y:52? That’s what you put to get to the Pewter Moon.
Are you at the Pewter Moon? Go to the 1st guy with the rocket on his shirt. Talk to him. Then go into the AstroZone & talk to the rocket shirt guy in there. Choose the 3rd thing to say. He’ll say something, then wait for your person the say…something like “Oh, Great!” And you go back to the 1st rocket guy by the holopad.

Yes, you need to let them fall in the black hole.

Sure! It’s not really a cheat (it doesn’t help you beat the island) but it’s cool. If you are able to enter the Order’s hideout, press the symbols. As the panel is going down, click on it again. Press Black Hole then Close. The water will be gone from the fountain!

1.)Log in to your account.
2.)Go to this URL: http://static.poptropica.com/base.swf?desc=AstroMain&island=Astro
3.)Right-click and press “Play”.
4.)Now press Save and Quit. Be sure to log out.
5.)Re-login, and enjoy Astro Knights island!!!

I HATE Astro-Knights Island! Why? IT’S IMPOSSIBLE TO DEFEAT MORDRED!!! He has this annoying contraption at the end, and…just as i finish his machine off, merlin gets hit, and i have barely any energy left to defeat Mordred at all! Besides, the island takes WAAY too long to complete. I’ve been sitting at this computer for four hours and still havent completed Astro-Knights at all! Astro Knights Island is my least favorite Poptropicans island ever, after Shark Tooth and 24 Carrot.

I beat 5 islands in one day to get the pass. And then I beat AK island. One of these days i’m going to time myself to see how long it takes me to beat all the islands.
um i know mordred is hard to defeat but you dont have to be all mean about it. all you have to do is jump to the princess then jump on the cendelier and mordred will explode after a while, then the princess comes down and kicks mordred away from the orb.

I don’t think you should be so angry, I think you should see how far you’ve got, I’ve spent around the same amount of time and I’m on the red planet, the first one I’ve been on.
Shiny Leaf, you shouldn’t say that about this island. You’re lucky to even finish. I know it’s your opinion and all, but you shouldn’t tell them not to play in because, well, it’s YOUR opinion. You don’t know how someone ELSE would react. They might love it or hate it, but you don’t know. Let them see for themselves.
i beat astro knights island yesterday and i customized the red knights costume. the medal has a sword on it but it shows up as a planet on your poptropican

This was the hardest island yet. IT RULED!
i cant get past the second part of defeating merlond.
Jump on the princess’ platform. To the right and left are chandeliers. When you jump on one, Mordred will probably get under you. When he fires the laser, you won’t get hurt because the chandelier falls on his head. Do this with the other chandelier to win! Tip: Use the robot as steps to get on the princess’ platform.
The people who are only saying “Please help me!” without anything else are pretty much spamming if you know what I mean. Like, I need help with the sharks but you don’t see me going “OMG! I need help but I won’t tell you what I need help with!”
To beat the sharks, first find the black hole. I think it is somewhere above the Ice Planet. Remember the coordinates. Now lure the shark over to the black hole. Don’t get too close but don’t get too far away or you will lose him. The shark will be pulled into the black hole. Do this with all the sharks and you’re free to go!
GO around and visit planets. The queen gave you coordinates, the planets are there. I posted above how to beat the bosses and how to lure the sharks away.
I’m not even at the planets! I’m trying to…
a) Get the owl to follow me
b) Get past the UFO in the mud
To get the owl:
1. Get the moldy cheese from under the library.
2. Go to the room on your left as you enter the castle.
3. Talk to the princesses assistant. She will give you a secret note from the princess.
4. Use the cheese to get the robot mouse.
5. Go into the wind mill.
6. Hop up in the wind mill until you find a lady wearing gray and a star necklace.
7. talk to her and she will give you the secret password into the fountain.
8. Go to the fountain on the main street.
9. Click on the plaque and click on the half-moon, Jupiter, the small star, and then the sun.
10. Go into the secret room.
11. Speak to the person at the back of the room. they will give you a key.
12. Go back to the place where the wind mill is.
13. Find the 2 haystacks and push them apart.
14. Use the key to unlock the door.
15. Go down, the owl will fly out past you.
16. Go back up.
17. Release the mouse and the owl will eat it.
The owl will now fallow you around in that section. Tell me if this does not work. I may have forgotten something.
Correction to step 3: the secret note is on a dresser in that room. not given to you be the assistant.

I made it to the chandelier once, which led to me falling down and the laser hitting me again!
I hit his machine twice, but I got hit too many times when I was the person! I had to start all over again! 😥
When you are the person, if you stay right in the middle of him you won’t get hit.

I’m stuck in the volcano in the red planet, and I’m finding it hard to get up from the second hole in the ground, up two steps and into the next hide out in seven seconds! Anyone got any advice?
I beat it like this:
1.) Get to the lava platform right before the hardest one.
2.) When the platform you are currently on is it’s highest, click the “Store” icon in you right-top toolbar. Wait 3 seconds…
3.) Now press “Close”. Your platform and the hardest platform will have gone down, and you will be in midair. Move your player over the hardest platform, and get on it.
That’s how I beat it. Either that is a glitch, or that’s how everyone beat it, I don’t know. Enjoy!

It’s a glitch, but it works.
i am at the jungle planet!
Ok. First, go to the jungle floor until you see a lance. Take it. Now go to the platform where your ship is by using the flowers. Wait until a swinging platform comes. WALK ONTO IT, NOT JUMP. It will start going right. When it stops, WALK RIGHT. Another swinging platform will come and catch you if you did it right. Keep doing this until you reach the edge, then go right. Climb the rope and wait for the first bird to come out. Once it goes back in, get off the rope and onto the egg. When the second bird come out, jump high in the air so that you land on the 2nd egg. Do this until you are on the 4th egg. Jump onto the unicorn’s cage and free it. Now the battle begins. Dodge the missiles, bugs and lightning (that comes out of the black clouds). Once you reach the Atomic Phoenix, charge the lance by holding down the mouse button. When it is glowing green, release the mouse button to fire at the Phoenix. Dodge her missiles and dodge her when she charges at you. If she is behind you, just dodge her and her missiles because you can’t hurt her unless she is in front of you. Hit her 3 times and you win!
I DEFEATED THE MOTHER pheonix!

Hide in the crevices every time you reach one. When the flow starts, stay in there ’til the end. Then go down to the next crevice, and so on.
