The mysterious “Mechanical/Medieval” island has a name now – Astro-Knights Island! Thanks Legodude12 for this piece of exciting information. According to the Poptropica Creators, this island is expected to be released this spring!
The cool banner above can also be found on the homepage of Poptropica.com. If you click on it, it’ll bring you to a page where it tells you all about the quest plot for the upcoming Astro-Knights Island! Here’s what it says:
ASTRO-KNIGHTS
Launch thyself into a new adventure on Poptropica! The fair princess King and Queen hath been kidnapped and taken to the far reaches of space. Thou must assemble a space vessel and fly among the stars on an inter-galactic quest to rescue her.

If you were wondering why “the fair princess” is crossed out, it’s because Poptropica changed the description to “King and Queen”. Thanks Penguin Girl!
Now does that sound cool or what. We’re so excited. Look at all the places. You can see the ‘Mechanical Jungle’ there, and there’s the Spaceship. We assume we will be flying the spacecraft, like the plane in Nabooti, to different regions in space to collect items. The different regions will be like a Fire Place, Snowy Mountain Place, that mysterious Jungle.
Looks like we’ll be taking a long ride through space to rescue the royal couple! Awesome! 
But what does that mean for Reality TV Island? They started making that island ages ago.

Tomorrow Codien will be posting another ‘PHB Sneak Peak’. It will have some more info on the FL Pirates and also some new stuff coming out. He has promised to get some sneak peaks of the costumes from the latest island Astro-Knights.

I was really looking forward to playing Reality TV Island. It looked so fun! I guess I will have to settle for Big Nate and Astro Island.
So that’s what the name is…And for some reason, everybody forgot about Big Nate Coming Soon on the website.

Big Nate island is coming soon again. The Past or future,Knight and day, rising from the ashes, and Final Frontier posts on the creators blog have to be the new island.
Coming Soon more then likely means its coming out very soon.
Hey people! Maybe those “french island” sneak peaks are really just one of the challenges on Reality TV island were you look through the streets of France looking for the show producers or something!

Wait… how come it’s always a GIRL who gets kidnapped?! Why not a GUY? (no offence, boys of the world) but still, I don’t like that people think girls r very likely to get kidnapped. And now the poptropica creators think that? Sheesh!
Plus, I’m a girl on pop and in real life, so i think it’s weird to have a gal go after another gal. u would think of a prince to save her.
Codien: Technicaly girls are considered smaller because they are physicaly smaller. Which makes them more vunerable then men. But this is only for some people. Im not saying that all girls are small.
They should make it that a boy is stolen aswell because how is a girl ment to rescue a girl.
So your totaly right, it would be cool to see a girl rescue a boy. 😛

Reality TV island will be next after Big Nate. Look at the creators blog: We’ve decided on our next island (after choose your own adventure and Big Nate): Reality TV island! So the rumors are not true. Big Nate is not coming today. So RT is coming between Feb and the end of spring, June.
Codien: So your saying that it goes Big Nate, Reality TV, then Astro?

I noticed we have to rescue a KING and QUEEN! I thought we had to rescue a princess? Oh well. But there is a princess,so maybe the princess is the one who gives you the mission of rescueing them? And why is this island coming before Reality TV island? they started working on RT before AK island! But they gave us a heads up on the poptropica homepage for AK Island first! CONFUSING! :confused:

Scary Tomato: Usually, it’s from late March to late June. The date is around the 20th to 23rd. 😉
I think that astro-knights island will come out on the middle of April,the end of April or the first day of May.The reason I think it will come out on the middle of April is that Big Nate island came out the middle of February and it takes about 2 months for poptropica to finish an island(it says on http://195.69.212.200/index.cfm?pageid=218&fid=2958 that Poptropica has launched a new island every six to eight weeks and that’s close to 2 months)so 2 months would be in themiddle of April.The reason that I think the island will come out in the end of April or the beginning of May is because the few extra days of the 6-8 weeks and if you add them it would be close to there.Also the end of April and the beginning of May would be the middle of the start of Spring(March 20,2009) and the end of Spring(Jue 20,2009).ST,Codien or Smockers please reply to this comment and if you agree with one of the ideas.

ST: I’m not sure. At first, it was the princess, then the Creators mysteriously changed it to “King and Queen”. Now it’s back to “princess”. Can’t wait for AK Island either!
