Since the holiday season is right around the corner, the store has been decked out with lots of holiday outfits/items—but also with an array of other random stuff for whatever reason. 😛 The current stock for the next month includes:

As always, I’d like to note the number of members-only items in the store, which this month is 14 out of 27 cards. You heard it right, over half of the new stock is only available to members. Eesh. Well, there is that membership sale going on right now…

We just missed announcing the Black Friday-only deal of $1.99 on 1-month membership (sorry!) but you can still get the 3- and 6-month membership deals until just before midnight Eastern time on Monday!

Membership, Poptropica Stickers App

Something to be thankful for… D.C. Diner is BACK!

How’s it going, Poptropicans? It’s Lucky Joker here, back with Poptropica news!

The classic MiniQuest, D.C. Diner, has returned to Poptropica for a limited time with a new exclusive prize to be won!

Play between now and “16” (perhaps they mean 26?) to win a Magic Hat (that’s the prize 😉 ), and reference our guide if you need any help along the way.

In other news, it looks like Poptropica is having a little Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale of their own! Currently, the 3- and 6-month memberships are discounted by about 20%, going for $8.99 (instead of $10.99) and $15.99 (instead of $19.99) respectively.

In the announcement, Poptropica also hinted at several new updates coming our way (including clubhouses and a revamped friends page!) which might have members-only perks—so all the more reason to get one, right?

This offer will be available until 11:59 PM EST on Monday, November 26, so take advantage of it as soon as you can!

And lastly, the Poptropica Stickers app has received an update with five new stickers for fall and Thanksgiving. (The Halloween ones are still in the app though. Interesting.)

Pop Fan Artist Spotlight: Slanted Fish

Hello, Poptropicans, and welcome to another Pop Fan Artist Spotlight! It’s Lucky Joker here, and today I’m featuring the art of the one and only Slanted Fish!

As the primary graphic creator for the PHB, Slanted Fish’s creations can been seen all over the site, such as in the header at the top! As you’ll see, there’s a very distinct look to her art with the unique shapes, textures, and patterns she uses. Fishy often draws in a Poptropica-like style, but also experiments with other styles too.

Breaking news: Pets are blasting off to Poptropica!

Hello, everyone! It’s Lucky Joker here along with some huge news — new pets are coming to Poptropica!

In 2016, Poptropica released pet packs—a dog pack and a cat pack—to members only, which weren’t very popular among players. But coming soon, Poptropica will have all-new pets in store for us in the Pet Barn! The Creators posted a sneak peek with five animals: a dog, cat, chameleon, goat, and bunny rabbit.

They’re so adorable! They’re probably the most adorable animals I’ve ever seen in Poptropica… which brings me to my next bit.

They don’t look quite “Poptropica” to me, if that makes sense. Compared to just about every other animal we’ve seen in Pop, they don’t really fit in — they look more suited to Worlds with the extra shading and thicker limbs if you ask me. Not really a complaint though, just an observation. 🙂

Also, the Blast-Off Arcade has been remastered and has officially opened! There are a few differences to be noted since the lase time it was open.

There have been a few minor design changes here and there, but the biggest difference would probably be with the Blaster Crazy game, or should I say, Blaster Attack.

Instead of being an ad game for the LEGO Star Wars play sets, it is now more original to Poptropica (and a little reminiscent of Astro-Knights Island in particular).

The gameplay is pretty much the same as before: first, choose a blaster, then, dodge and blast obstacles by moving your mouse around and pressing the space bar.

Lastly, an advertisement for Disney’s upcoming animated movie, Ralph Breaks the Internet, has surfaced and can be found on Home Island. There are two prizes to be earned, and to earn the first one, you must watch the video trailer. Go ahead and do that now… finished? 😉 Now onto the mini-game!

The mini-game is really easy, and mimics the one you’ve probably seen the little girl playing in the trailers for the movie on YouTube!

All you have to do is swipe the milkshakes to the cat, and swipe the pancakes to the bunny in the allotted time—without making more than seven mistakes. Don’t worry, the bunny won’t explode. 😜

Once you complete the game, you’ll win a Blockhead Transformer card and an awesome Vanellope Glitch Power card! Congratulations!

The lost jewels of Poptropica

Hey, guys! It’s time to uncover some more lost items from the depths of the Poptropica files. Thanks to idk for sharing these gems with us on the PHC. Let’s get started!

Below, we have two jewels that could have appeared in Nabooti Island: the Lumbar Jewel and the Third Eye Jewel. There are some interesting differences between these scrapped jewels and the final in-game jewels. The scrapped jewels have mystical names rather than just being referred to by their respective colors (for example, Lumbar Jewel vs. Orange Jewel), and they lack the strange inscriptions that the in-game jewels possess.

 

The Third Eye Jewel doesn’t look like any of the seven jewels in the game. It’s not quite blue or purple—probably indigo. On the other hand, the Lumbar Jewel might be the orange jewel that’s found on the Nabooti Monument; it might be in the game but not as a collectible item. idk said, “Take the exact details with a grain of salt. The item card data was never finalized, meaning some details are a little off, like the card’s background color and text size.”

idk also found a lost scene from Reality TV Island. He said: “[It’s] an image of Reality TV Island’s beta found in an old Viewmaster ad. It appears the scene was located directly to the left of the main camp and was called ‘The Thick Jungle’.”
