Poptropica Creator Hades posted a sneak peek with “SkullduggeryIsland” in its name, so that could be an island coming soon to Poptropica for all we know. The word “skullduggery” refers to dishonorable acts, which means we may be dealing with dishonesty on Poptropica… not digging skulls. 😛

This Time it’s Revolution!

Ahoy! What “arr” the Poptropica Creators up to this time? Posted on the official Poptropica Facebook page under the picture album titled “The Making of Poptropica”, is a cool sneak peek of some Poptropican characters you may encounter in the future!

Fear God, not man. 🙂

In the top-left corner of this picture, we see an old sailor with a green cap puffing on his cigar after a hard day’s work. Next to him is a simple-looking pirate cabin boy with a brown bandana wrapped around his head. And on the top-right, fearfully, are two pirate captains with golden peg legs!

The lower row of this sneak peek is occupied by four British (Redcoats; right)/American (Patriots; left) soldiers who look like they’ve stepped out of the Revolutionary War. Armed with guns with bayonets at the tip; you don’t want to get on their bad side! But freedom comes at a high cost, sometimes even requiring bloodshed… are you up for the battle?

For members, a new mythical mission awaits them on the latest Poptropica island -Mythology Island. To all the non-members (*high-fives*) out there, this island will be released FREE for everyone on April 29th.

Poptropica Creator Shark Boy says on the official Creators’ Blog that “We hope you enjoy it, this was a fun one to make. We have more awesome islands in the works, so stay tuned!” (More cool islands are on their way!)

Evidently, Vlad the Viking (another Poptropica Creator) agrees, declaring that “Mythology Island is the stuff of legends!” For those who aren’t members yet, he’s got them hooked with the official Mythology Island video trailer:

It’s no April Fool’s joke. Poptropica Members will have Early Access to Mythology Island beginning this Thursday, April 1!

And as stated on its information page, Mythology Island will be open to all on April 29, 2010. Almost a month away. x_x

Today, Dr. Hare showed us on the Creators’ Blog that your Island Medallion card for Reality TV Island actually keeps track of the amount of seasons you have dominated in on the island! Unless you beat Hippie Harry to fame and fortune, in which case I despise you.

Exhibit A: A common result of extreme boredness.

Dr. Hare continues to mock us in his post by challenging us to beat his high score of a whopping five seasons won. He then questions us how many times we have completed Reality TV Island, the latest island brought to you by the creators. He also probably should’ve asked us how many times we have been way too busy to even play Reality TV Island. 🙂

As the lazy boy I am, I am a 1-time winner. Tell us: how many times have you completed Reality TV Island? Haven’t even completed one season? What are you doing then? Head out to that island and compete! With guide in hand, you’re sure to overtake the bunny himself.

On this magical and momentous day, us Poptropicans without membership, get to access the greatest and latest:

REALITY TV ISLAND!!!

But to be honest, I don’t feel all that cheery. Having to wait so long, and miss out is kinda sapping all the fun out of playing a new island. Which is another reason this whole Membership thing sucks. I mean, I understand the Creators need cha-chingy and all, but at least they could still have Early Access Passes…
