If you’re new here, welcome to our yearly super cool event called: The Poppies! This is our annual community awards event that we host here, on the Poptropica Help Blog, to honor our blog’s birthday on July 26th. During the month of July, members of the Poptropica Fandom (That includes YOU!) nominate the categories, vote for the categories, and finally, celebrate the winners!
It truly is a fun time for all members of this community to get together and celebrate this game we know and love, and the fandom built around it.
This year, we have 10 categories! 5 for in-game Poptropica awards, and 5 to award to the Community! You can nominate up to 3 nominations in each category of whomever or whatever you think deserved the crown for that title. 👑
The nominations will be closed July 8th, so tell yourself and your friends to get your suggestions in soon!

🦸Best Superhero Character: There are many superhero characters throughout the Poptropica islands. From Poptropicon’s “The Mighty Action Force” to the cast of Superpower island, and all those heroes in-between, which vibrant vigilante has your heart?
⚡️Most Enjoyable Power-Up Item: You can purchase them at shops, earn them during your adventures, or even snatch them along with an outfit. Power-Up items can include Poseidon’s trident, Arabian Night’s Smoke Bombs, or Electrify from the store! All of them are enjoyable to some degree, but what’s the best of them all?
🌈 Most Magical Character: We’ve got wizards. We’ve got Greek gods. We’ve even got genies! Many magical icons roam the islands of Poptropica, using their magical powers to bring chaos or help the player. Which one is the most powerful, the most whimsical, and overall the most MAGICAL character there is?
💀 Worst Island to Reside In: Last year, we had the category “Best Island to Reside In”, but this year we’re taken a twisted turn with this, making it “WORST Island to Reside In”. There can be many uncomfortable and dangerous locations that while, can be fun for a short trip, actually living there would be incredibly inconvenient. What will it be?
🎭 Favorite Duo/Team: From the Terrible Trio all the way to Timmy and Total from Total Failure Island, there’s endless representation of teamwork and friendship throughout Poptropica. Which one lights your world the MOST?

✏️ Best Guest Post of The Year: Here at the PHB, we have a lot of lovely folks post who aren’t actually members of the staff. Now is a great time to highlight those contributions and nominate the amazing works of Poptropica fans! Check out guest posts here! (Anything published on/after July 2025 is eligible.)
📚 Favorite Poptropica Fan-fiction of All Time: As a fandom does, we write fan-fiction. Lots of it. Alternate universes, fresh perspectives, extended lore, original characters, and more! Throughout the years, a lot of epic tales shine in glory, but which one is the favorite of all time?
🧐 Most Likely Conspiracy: Poptropica has a lot of mystery behind its game lore. With the mystery comes questions, and with the questions come some bright minds with hypothetical answers! Out of all the hot takes ever thrown out into the world, which conspiracy remains to be the absolute most likely to be true?
🎨 Best Fan-Art of The Year: Poptropica fan-art is such eye-candy, but which tastiest artwork takes the cake? You can find fan-art on the PHC discord server, Tumblr, and whatever other social media platform you use should have a Poptropica hashtag of sorts. Good luck, and special shout-out to all the artists who take time to make fan-art of our lovely game! (Anything published on/after July 2025 is eligible.)
💕 Favorite Ship: There are many romantic relationships throughout Poptropica, some are canon, and some… aren’t. But that doesn’t mean just because it’s official, it can’t be adorable! Whether in the game, or just in fanart, what ship pulls at your heartstrings the most?
