Ohhh… you must be pretty upset with me for ruining that perfect, happy in the last episode with another planted blueberry smoothie machine and ANOTHER zombie. But I didn’t like all this… peacefulness and decided to send certain people to their doom (if you’ve ever written a story, you’ll understand). But now you want to know what happens next! Of course, of course! (Or start from the beginning here.)
Please enjoy Episode Six, and PLEASE don’t hate me for all the events that happen. (Feel free to tell me if you want any characters/islands in the future episodes! Bosko was suggested by Fast Lizard.)

A Zomberry Series
Episode Six: Chaos in City Hall
The City Hall of Goofball Island is frozen. Nobody is moving. Athena has her mouth open, and Birdy, Pick, and Hawk seem to turn to stone for a moment, because of that terrible, terrible shock. And then fear floods the bones of all the Poptropicans in the City Hall. Fear that is so surprising, so frightening that for a solid minute, everybody is staying still, like they are made of ice.
Zombie
Bleh?
And the chaos erupts. Poptropicans screaming, fainting, running. The zombie chases the scared-silly mayor around until…
Bosko
No!
…The mayor becomes indigo as well. Another zombie.
Bosko
What’s wrong with the mayor?
Toothpick
Bosko! Is there a way out?
Bosko
Big door leads outside, Bosko thinks. But Bosko is worrying about Mayor.
Toothpick and the others run to the door, banging on it over and over again, but it’s locked! And the key is… on a chain around the zombie mayor’s neck.
Jazzy Hawk
Typical!
There are now more and more zombies, and they are all walking towards the crowd at the door. Closer and closer. Nobody knows what to do!
CJ is next to them, just as frightened as they are.
Jazzy Hawk
Whatdowedo?
CJ
I don’t kn—
And then her eyes brighten.
CJ
Time Tangled!
Jazzy Hawk
What?
CJ
Go to Time Tangled Island, go to the past, and stop this from happening! If I don’t make it out — which I probably won’t — you gotta do it! Find some people to help, make allies!
Jazzy Hawk
WHAT?! I mean— sure! What should I do there?
CJ
Let me think…
The door is blocked.
Zombies are closing in.
Toothpick shuts his eyes, fearing what would happen next.
But Bosko refuses to let that happen.
Bosko
Make way for Bosko!
Bosko is carrying the indigo mayor in one arm, while with the other, he rams the door and breaks it open.
SMASH!
Poptropicans run to their plane, helicopter, car, bike, flying pirate ship, whatever they came to Goofball Island in.
Motors are starting and vehicles are beginning to rise in the air and/or drive away.
Bosko
Bosko must help friends! Go!
Clumsy Bird
Thanks, Bosko!
Bosko
Bosko is very glad to help!
As the three Poptropicans climb onto the yellow blimp, the zombies, loads of them, pour out of the city hall. Bosko tries to stand in the way, and he blocks them for a few seconds.
Bosko
Friends must run!
All the zombies climb over Bosko, soon burying him in their pursuit to get the last Poptropicans.
Birdy, Toothpick, and Hawk
BOSKO!
The zombies are now making their way to the yellow blimp. Bosko, covered in blue zombies now, says one more word.
Bosko
RUN!
The engine starts and the blimp rises into the air, faster and faster, until the city below becomes smaller and smaller, and Bosko is now smaller than a speck.
The cloudy sky is thick and dense as the blimp drifts away, away from Goofball Island.
But they aren’t alone in the blimp.
Clumsy Bird
OI! Who’s that?
Inside the blimp, Clumsy Bird finds someone sitting in a large, shadowed secret compartment (normally where Jazzy Hawk put his luggage for long journeys). Toothpick and Hawk come over.
Hawk
What? Who are you?! Why are you on my blimp?
Poptropican
Because of the flipping zombies! Do you expect me to chill on the streets? I was hoping you wouldn’t have noticed I was here so I could sneak off when you land in another place away from the city hall. Well, that plan failed!
Clumsy Bird
Who are you?
Poptropican
Just drop me off at the next island. It’s a Zomberry apocalypse, are names necessary?
Toothpick
YES!
Poptropican
Whatever. My name’s Icy Stone. Happy? Can you drop me off now?
Hawk looks at the distance to Time Tangled Island. Then he looks back.
Hawk
First we gotta take a little detour.
Meanwhile, miles below, the zombies wander away from the city hall, carrying a tied-up Bosko.
There is one more person in the city hall, however. A goth girl that was at the meeting is hanging around, waiting for something. She seems unconcerned. Whenever a zombie comes near her, she sprays it with something in a bottle, and it goes away.
Waiting.
Waiting.
A whirring sound is heard as a black helicopter emerges through the cloudy sky. Propellers spin rapidly. The helicopter lowers onto the ground. The goth girl’s hair is whipping around in the wind. And then, it turns out her hair is a wig. It falls away — revealing she has long brown hair underneath.
How interesting.
She boards the helicopter.
Pilot
How was your mission?
Goth girl
It went as planned. Several got away, however.
Pilot
Our boss will be pleased.
The goth girl wipes the make-up off her face.
Pilot
Is this your first undercover mission for the boss?
Goth girl (Spy?)
No. I’ve done several before. I planted a blueberry machine in 24 Carrot, Atlantis, and Virus Hunter as well.
Pilot
The boss’s plan is working very well.
Spy
Yes. Yes it is.
Pilot
Ha! Soon the whole of Poptropica will be under our— *ahem* — his command.
Spy
Nobody will be able to stop it. No matter what they try. Yes, soon, they will all be under the boss’s control.
Pilot
I look forward to that.
The spy looks out of the window at the darkening sky.
Spy
So do I.
