Green Sights and a Quiet Heist

Hey Poptropicans, pop in for shop drops and gems for mems!

March-ing into St. Patrick’s season, Adventure Outfitters is right on trend with a section of “green stuff” for your clubhouse. 🍀 Also on the shop floor, you’ll find Leprechaun and Jester costumes, as well as a cute lion plush. And in the middle are some cozy fits. Lucky you!

Shhh… members get more! March’s member gifts have stealthily arrived, equipping would-be thieves with a Quiet Heist Grapple Hook, Quiet Heist Boots, and Quiet Heist Outfit featuring a beanie with long hair, sunglasses, puffer jacket, and dark pants. Happy heisting? 🥷

While opening up your menu, you might continue to encounter “Daily Questions.” Besides the pop culture questions seen earlier, we’re now starting to see more general questions, such as this one about winning contests — though we’re still without a place to show our answers.

Meanwhile in meme land, the Pop Creators continue to be fixated on 24 Carrot Island, and in particular its magical drink dispenser. Seems they’re too busy to give us any other kinds of updates these days…

    1. Some of the islands may be gone… BUT POPTROPICA ROCKS FOREVER! The game is not dead, in fact it is very much alive, like a deciduous tree getting its leaves back in springtime. I REPEAT: POPTROPICA ROCKS FOREVER! 🙂

      1. Cap. Poptropica doesn’t have any meaningful updates. Side-quests are pointless and Poptropica worries way too much about them. The new islands are ridiculously short, easy, and everything is handed to you. I’m not just saying that because I’m older than I once was playing Poptropica. EVERYTHING is way too easy. They’ve suddenly started promoting Roblox and other irrelevant games. The Creator’s Blog is dead and the only updates are posts from legit 13-year-olds. You’re gonna sit here and tell me Poptropica rocks the way it did way back when? Fine. Watch it die. You gotta admit, even the PHB is dying. There’s like 6 comments on every page. Used to be like 30. All there is here is reminders of how pathetic Poptropica’s few updates are, mini-quests and shop items. The only reason I still come to this blog is because there’s still a small part of me that hopes the Creators will get better, but they never do. This is my disappointment.

    2. Haven’t seen a truer statement in weeks. I don’t think this would be the first time me and Silver Shell are agreeing on something.

  1. I remain where I stand.
The newer islands are much easier and not as complicated, I can agree with that, and yes, it’s not doing so great right now. I can’t be oblivious to that, either.
But you know what makes it worse? Giving up on it.
It’s still really fun writing fan fics about it and drawing fan art. It’s still fun to be able to geek out with people about nostalgia.
So YOU can sit there and be all negative and grumpy, or you can choose to enjoy as much as there still is to enjoy, and focus on good things.
I’ve always loved poptropica and I’m not going to let a couple of new things that I’m not used to stop me from playing it.
Things have to become worse before they get better.
And even if the game goes down, I will stick with it and all of the fun memories I have of it until the bitter end.
If you really don’t like it anymore and have all this mean stuff to say about it, you can go away and ruin someone else’s day. I’m sure there’s something better you can do with your time.
    Happy St. Patrick’s Day.
PS (Seriously though, don’t bother responding, because I already know what you think)

    1. Thank you! I don’t understand why everyone complains about every single fault the game currently has, but never say a single word about any of the few good things.
It’s so depressing, just because old islands are coming back at snail pace, gives us no reason to complain about it, it gives reason to keep the memories of those islands alive and celebrate what Poptropica was and what it will be, once again.
But if people don’t think it’ll get better. Then let me ask you this: why do you still play the game?

(P.s. I am merely stating my opinion, and I will stand by it, if I insulted you, I apologize.)

      1. Thanks, Dizzy Feather! I’m glad that you agree with me (and don’t worry, I am not offended 🙂 ), I still play the game because my brothers and I love to have something fun to play together and we have debates about what the best dream island winner is and come up with the silliest costume (We’ve made some SUPER SILLY ones up). Poptropica is also a great place to get ideas for creativity (most of my sketchbook pages are poptropica stuff). Aaand the daily questions are kinda fun to answer 🙂

What's popping, Poptropicans?
