No matter if or how you celebrate the American holiday, it’s always a good time to give gratitude. Here at the PHB, we’d like to take the opportunity to thank you, our readers, for being with us in all of Poptropica’s ups and downs. Your passion keeps us going! 💙
We’re not entirely sure what the story is behind this Thanksgiving pic shared on Poptropica’s social media, but it sure gives us something to speculate about!
While an earlier Creators’ Blog post mentioned the Baron was off-Poptropica visiting friends and family, the new post mentions “the Baron’s family”… along with some familiar characters from Fairytale Island. Could the Baron be its true queen, whom the king and prince fear so much? We do see the statue of the queen from Rumpel’s Challenge with remarkable curls, and we’ve also never seen what’s under the Baron’s fluffy hat… then again, perhaps she’s just a distant relative of the royal family? What’s your theory?
Also, what are those Batman-shaped heads lurking ominously in the background? And just what is Rumpelstiltskin doing in the turkey??
Maybe time will tell. In the meantime, enjoy the weekend!
Another thing to celebrate: November’s costume contest winner has been announced, and the next fan-made design to be distributed at the Baron’s will be a Dr. Hare inspired costume by Maroon Moon!

Maybe the queen has an army of wolves? Again, I suspected she was an evil queen. Maybe the Baron is the queen’s sister or cousin. Biggest plot twist might be she’s somehow related to Rumple but I highly doubt it. I have a theory that the queen imprisoned Rumple and used his powers to take over various lands and now he wants revenge so in the future its going to be the queen vs Rumple
Wait, I think the queen’s army isn’t wolves I now think that they may be cats like the ones we saw in the concept art of her. Sorry, just realized that now.
Interesting theory! Maybe they’re cats-turned-wolves? The queen also seems fond of slaying unicorns, and if she’s a friend of the Baron, that could have caused some tension with Amelia…
Maybe the hat isn’t fluffy, and what we see under it are actually those curls
um you mean the fluff lining the inside of the barons hat? I kind of doubt it unless the barons black curls popping out are part of the hat and they are blond, unless the baron has like multicolored hair? still a bit of a stretch. also if this was like proof of the baron being the queen, then sorry to burst you bubble but the queen has pink hair and the baron is her daughter…
i KNEW baron was somehow related to the fairy tale royals because she looks a lot like the queen… especially with those black curls sticking out!
Apparently the Red Queen, the Red Baron’s Mother, is the queen of Fairy Tale Island, who loves conquering and cats, and imprisoned Rumpel.
That does seem to be the case, according to the latest developments aboard the Baron’s — now Rumpelstiltskin’s — airship.
so the baron is a princess and is a sister to the prince. i say that sounds noway possible but a norther part says yes. im so confused
I mean they could be related if the red queen is the mother and they just had different other parents.(I am implying that both their parents might not be the king it could be some relationship the queen had from her conquests you know)
