To send in entries forĀ The POPCORN, simply email us atĀ [email protected], comment on this blog, or tweet usĀ @Poptropica_Help. Weā€™re looking for all kinds of Poptropica fan creations, includingĀ stories, fan art, comics, costumes, island ideas, and whatever else you can think of.Ā Weā€™ll also be scouring the web for some handpicked selections, including theĀ We-Love-Poptropica deviantArt groupĀ (of which Iā€™m an admin!). Remember toĀ proofread your own submissionsĀ ā€“ your work is your responsibility! That being said, weā€™re always excited to see what you guys come up with.Ā šŸ˜€

    1. Unfortunately, videos can’t be embedded into pdf files, and for those who like to print out the POPCORN to read, videos won’t work in that context. However, feel free to share your Poptropica creative videos on the Magazines page.

  7. I have a story, but I can’t wait until the next magazine to share it, so I’ll post it here.

    Hour of the Villains: Part 1
    It was raining on Super Power Island, and most of the guards had gone home. But one guard was still on duty, and just as he was closing up, he heard a crash. The next thing he knew, he was being yanked up and into a prison cell. He looked out the door and saw Omegon and Zeus! Omegon: “Mua-ha-ha-ha-ha! Now we will rule Poptropica! Right, my evil friend?” Zeus: “Yes, but remember, I am your master! You cannot defeat me, for I am the god of thunder!” Omegon: “Yes, Your Majesty. But on all counts, I came up with the plan.” [radio blares with reports] Betty Jetty: “Sir, I caught the astronauts. [snickers] They didn’t stand a chance.” Black Widow: “Caught all the cops. It was easy-peasy.” Director D: “Rounded up the spies in that puny little agency.” Queen Dagger: “Nabbed all the other good guys except for that pest, Super Comet.” Omegon: “Why not!?!” Queen Dagger: ” She was too fast and had her force field on. I couldn’t catch her or shoot her down! We have everyone else though! Isn’t that a big accomplishment? Seriously, does one little hero matter?” Omegon: “Well, I suppose one hero is all right…” [radio clicks off] Omegon: “Well, I have good news and I have bad news, my lord. Which do you want first?” Zeus: “Well, I suppose I should hear the good news first.” Omegon: “The good news is that we caught almost every single hero. The bad news is that that pesky Super Comet is on the loose.” Zeus: “Blast you, Super Comet…” and banged on his chair. He yelled, “RAAAAHH!!!!!!!!!!!! [babbles]” [Omegon snickers] Zeus did the angry emote and said, “How dare you defy me! I will conquer Poptropica, and I do not need your help. Guards, take this @#$@!& to the dungeon. He needs some time to think about his attitude.” [Omegon growls] Just then, Super Comet arrived with two other heroes and her sidekick, Glamour Girl (who just happens to be a cat). The other heroes’ names are Super Star and Power Girl. ________________________________________________________________________
    Hour of the Villains: Part 2
    Recap: Zeus and Omegon have captured almost all of the good Poptropicans and are conspiring to take over Poptropica.

    Super Comet: “Surprise! Did you two miss me?'[giggles] Omegon and Zeus simultaneously: “No, you pest!” Super Comet: “Oh, that’s too bad. You’re gonna miss me when you brats are in prison!” There was a blinding flash of light as Super Comet freed the good guys in the first five cages. Super Star freed Cosmo, Ned Noodlehead, the retired superhero, the Greek gods, and the island creators from Mocktropica. Power Girl got all the other good guys out of the cages. Meanwhile, Glamour Girl was trying to defeat the bad guys with her sparkle powers. She was losing, but right before Zeus grabbed her, a beam of light sot him and pushed him to the other end of the room. Glamour Girl looked around and saw Super Comet and all the other good guys. Glamour Girl: “Meow-meow-meow-meow-meow-meow!” Super Comet: “CHARGE!!!!!!” Super Star: “For Poptropica!” All the heroes, young and old, fought for Poptropica. The villains eventually went down, but not without a fight. Five hours later, the villains were defeated. Zeus: “Owww…” Super Comet: “Hello, pretty boy.” Zeus sat up straight and tried to punch Super Comet, but chains held him back. Zeus: “Blast!!!”

    Note- This story was inspired by Happy Panda’s story in the September 2015 Popcorn magazine- The Adventures of Happy Panda: Villains Unite. (Just trying to give some credit.)
