Attention Poptropica comic fans – the bad news is, Poptropica’s pausing posting comics for 90 days, according to this tweet. But there’s better news ahead: the first entry in the graphic novel series begins tomorrow now! It’s called Mystery of the Map – keep reading for the first couple of pages!
And the series has begun over on the Creators’ Blog! Below are the first few pages (click to enlarge images), written by Max Brallier (author of Galactic Hot Dogs) and illustrated by Kory Merritt (Poptropica comic artist). Hello,I just wanted to know whether the Poptropica comics and this new Poptropica graphic novel ”Mystery of the map” are connected?
And will Mya and Octavian appear in the Poptropica comics?
Sorry,I’m just confused between the Poptropica comics and Poptropica graphic novels after all they both have oliver and george.
Mystery of the Map has only just begun, so it’s hard to tell whether or not its story is connected to the Poptropica comics. Both star Oliver and Jorge, but Mya and Octavian are exclusive to the graphic novel (they don’t appear in the comics).
As Trusty Biker pointed out, Mystery of the Map could be the Poptropica origin story that was mentioned by the President of Poptropica about a week ago.
