Daily Pop, Mocktropica Island

Our first look at some possible Mocktropica Island locations!

Hey everyone! I didn’t disappear, I have just been REALLY swamped with school work this semester, but I’m finally having time to both play and blog! Don’t worry, I’m going to be very active from now on that I managed to get through this first semester of high school. Back to the news!

With Mocktropica Island getting nearer and nearer, we may be getting our first look at what the inner workings of the Island will look like via the Daily Pop. Click the thumbnails to enlarge the pictures:

It looks like some of these resemble already established islands such as Twisted Thicket or Astro-Knights! Do you think that we will have to go into old islands and fix them? Some others look like we could either be creating new locations or maybe finishing locations. Either way, I think that these new locations shown in these previews will be pretty exciting!!

What do you think of these possible locations? How do you think that these locations will play into Mocktropica?

  2. I think these Daily Pops resemble some scenes from other islands (for example, Astro-Knights), and we have to resolve the issue. In one of the sneak peeks, the word, “Poptropica,” on the balloon is quite…deformed. xD We’ll probably have to fix things such as that. Or, perhaps, these could be completely new scenes that are previews of some future islands, which we have to fix.

    1. I think this will be a sort of expiremental island… I mean, if your inventory explodes, isn’t that sort of out of the game. It’s your toolbar 😛 But in reply to what you said, I don’t think that the premise you are predicting would be very fun… if all we would do would be to run around and fix problems… what’s your thoughts on it?

  4. I can’t wait for Mocktropica! I have a feeling I’ll laugh at the numerous fourth wall jokes… so Poptropica itself is aware its a game… but… um… ugh, I’m trying to make too sense out of this. After all, the Creators said to forget everything you know about the game for this island…

    I think the floating islands and the woods pictures are supposed to be for a completely different island. Some kind of fantasy related thing. The last picture, I found out is a statue of the Sandman, as evidenced by this Pop Quiz Question: http://prntscr.com/2a39gp … I don’t know if he has anything to do with this new island other than being a broken statue… but I guess we’ll wait and see…
