If you’ve played the new Lunar Colony Island, you may have seen this view of planet Earth Poptropica from the moon. Turns out, the Creators had planned for it to look like a real photograph called “Earthrise,” from the Apollo 8 mission. Pretty cool! Lunar Colony will be available to everyone starting on Thursday, September 6th. Be warned, though: there’s only one week left to get the limited edition “Zaggy Moondust” costume from the Poptropica Store! I don’t know if it’s just me, but am I the only one who is aware of the fact that as of this September, Poptropica is five years old and Super Villain Island is the 30th island?!? The Poptropica Help Blog and the Poptropica Creators Blog did not mention this at all!

The drawing for the Poptropican version of the Earth looks a little weird (just in my opinion).
The Poptropica-drawn planet is not based on earth, rather it is Planet Poptropica. It is based on Earth.
I meant it is not supposed to look like earth, it is based on it.
Super Villain Island will be great for Poptropica’s 5th birthday!
I know, but it would be nice for them to announce their 5th birthday like they did last year and the year before. But I guess an island as big as Super Villain will be the eqivalent of such a celebration!
Look at the creators blog! They have a link to the ds Poptropica Game! It’s called Poptropica Adventures and is coming out November 6th!
