Why is read (pronounced reed) and read (pronounced red) spelled the same, when the other words that sound the same to them, are spelled different?
Like live (I like to live my life) and live (Going live in 5, 4, 3, 2, ACTION!) being spelled the same, which they are!
Well, read (reed) is in present tense and read (red) is in past tense.
