PHB Pop-over Special: K-Poptropica Style!

Slanted Fish

PSY in Poptropica

Oppa Gangnam Style! Yes, ladies and gentlemen, that’s PSY, the big K-pop(tropica) phenomenon famous for his Korean music video “Gangnam Style” with the crazy horse dance. And in this PHB special adapted from Samwow5, we’ll show you how you can dress up just like this debonair dude.

  • Hair: Cryptids Island (Main Street), make it black at the 24 Carrot Diner
  • Shirt & pants: Prom King (Poptropica Store) – choose from light blue, orange, purple, and white!
  • (Optional) Mic: Rock Singer (Poptropica Store) – if not, get the wand from the Prom King suit.
  • Shades: Customize from the top secret secretary in the Spy Island Headquarters
  • Horse: Dance with the bucking broncos of Wild West Island!

Enjoy the costume and go out in style! Gangnam style, that is. 🙂

PHB Sunday Special: Become a Living Zomberry

Slanted Fish

(Happy Sunday! Here’s a guest post by MetusNui; enjoy! -fishy)

Zomberry costumeHi viewers,

I’m MetusNui, a guy who likes blogging, but doesn’t have a blog of his own. This is my second post on PHB (click here to see the first) and today I’m going to talk about Zomberry Island. Want to know how to dress like a uh… zomberry?

  1. Colorize your hair and skin purple/indigo (your hair should a darker shade).
  2. Complete the Haunted House and get the Zombie Costume.
  3. Customize the Eyes and the Mouth.
  4. If you have the Applebees item, customize the handheld apple.

Enjoy your zomberry costume! When the island is released, it will look like a zombie (sorry, zomberry) fighting against other zomberries. 🙂

PHB Sunday Special: Mid-Autumn Madness

Slanted Fish

Happy Mid-Autumn Festival from the PHB! Indulge in lanterns, lights, fruits, and of course, mooncakes! Or, just enjoy another regular Sunday. 😀

What would the super villains do to wreck this holiday? Black Widow might vandalize your beautiful Chinese paintings. Dr. Hare might steal the Moon Rabbit’s carrots and hide them away. You might have to even fly to the moon on your custom spaceship and rescue a princess, or Binary Bard wins. And Captain Crawfish would probably have to go in hiding because who knows, we might be hungry for crawfishy mooncakes.

How many other villain scenarios can you come up with? 😛

Don’t forget, if you’re in need of a Super Villain Guide, the PHB has one right here. 🙂

PHB Pop-over Special: Lex Luthor & Superman

Slanted Fish

(Hope you’re having a great day! Enjoy this guest post by Lazy Runner. -Fishy)

Hey Poptropica fans!

I’m Lazy Runner or MetusNui. I just found out how to dress like the Man of Steel and Lex Luthor on Poptropica. I emailed the PHB and if you’re reading this, they liked what I wrote. So here it is.

Lex Luthor

  • Get the suit from the secretary on Spy Island.
  • Then, get the bald head from Ex-Director D in the cage.
  • For a Kryptonite Gun, pick up the green gun from Laser Tag on Wimpy Boardwalk.
  • If for some reason, you cannot do this, or you can’t be bothered, friend LexLuth and costumise his outfit.

Superman

  • Get the blue pants and the red cape from the second blue costume from Capes and Masks on Super Power Island.
  • The Superman Shirt is more complicated. Either create a new character, or friend ManO’Steel.
  • For the hairpiece, costumes the retired hero on Super Power Island.
  • If for some reason, you cannot do this, or you can’t be bothered, friend ManO’Steel and costumise his outfit.

Thanks for reading!

PHB Pop-over Special: What Makes You Beautiful

Slanted Fish

Pop Boyband

Can you guess which Pop(tropica!) boy band this is?

If your answer is One Direction, you’re right!  In this PHB special, I’ll explain how you can dress like them on Poptropica using only 75 credits per band member (none if you’re a member). From left to right;

  • Niall: Hair from Reality TV Island Main Street, clothing from Leprechaun costume (Poptropica Store)
  • Zayn: Hair from standard customizing when signing up (make it black at the 24 Carrot Diner), clothing from Rock Singer costume – jacket, shirt with red tie, pants, microphone (Poptropica Store)
  • Louis: Hair from Cryptids Island Main Street, shirt from Mime on Counterfeit Island, mic from Rock Singer costume
  • Liam: Hair and clothing from Cryptids Island Main Street, mic from Rock Singer costume
  • Harry: Hair, shirt, jacket, pants from Vampire Boy costume (Poptropica Store)

Hope you enjoyed this bit of randomness from the Poptropica Help Blog. Are there any other customization ideas you have? Let us know! 🙂
