Props to you, Land-makers

(This is a guest post by PHB reader Captain Spencer, who contributed to part of the PHB’s Poptropica Labs/Land guide, which you can take a look at for more info about Land. Enjoy! –slantedfish)

Hey guys, Spencer here. I’ve been mentioned on this blog before, and you can find the post here. Slanted Fish featured my Poptropica Land video, and in a few weeks’ time, it got over a thousand views! So props to Fishy, everybody. Anyway, I’m here to explain the new “Props” section of Poptropica Land! Below, you can see the list of available Props and the levels you unlock them at:

land propsThe Creators have said they’d be adding more Props, but in the meantime, here’s a list (number indicating level you unlock them at):

  1. cup, chair, wooden table, anvil, crate, barrel, stone pillar, milk, lunch tray
  2. kitchen cabinet, front-facing door, window, cardboard box, side-facing door, loaf of bread, cupcake, spaghetti, blue bed, pink bed, bookshelf, another wooden table, lamp, dresser table with mirror, toilet bowl, drawers, closet, tire lying flat, tire standing up, ceiling light, washing mashine, strawberry and kiwi cake, strawberry tart, framed blue mountain landscape, blue couch
  3. long ceiling light, potted plant, cake with green icing
  4. framed orange rock landscape, sink
  5. treasure chest, water cooler, popcorn
  6. oven, couch chair
  7. baseball, soccer ball, framed landscape of palm trees, framed picture of unicorn
  8. shower, basketball, (American) football
  9. sewing machine, standing lamp, fireplace
  10. microwave, cup with handle
  11. disc player, television, banana split
  12. radio, purple jar, safe
  13. bicycle, potted cactus, heavily layered sandwich
  14. motorcycle, computer, digital camera
  15. chocolate cake

When you land on Land (heh), you’ll start off the same as before, and you’ll need to mine Poptanium in order to start unlocking the coolest of the cool things. If you aren’t quite familiar with all that yet, check out the PHB’s Poptropica Land guide to get started with the Svadilfari hammer and mining Poptanium.

Once you have the hammer, click the hammer button (Mining Mode) at the bottom left of your screen and start aiming at what blocks you wish to destroy. Sometimes you’ll come across shiny blue atomish moleculeness called Poptanium. The more Poptanium you earn, the more levels, biomes, and props (furniture) you unlock! To unlock all Props, you’ll need 330 Poptanium.

lands2Now, once you get a bootiful amount of Poptanium, you will unlock Level 1. (Every 15 pieces of Poptanium, you level up.) Select the paintbrush (“Painting Mode”), then select the + button.

lands3Now click on the category of Props (the chair icon to the left). You’ll see a menu for all the available Props (plus, the menus now have a whiter, flatter look!).

*crouches behind a tree* How the heck did you find me? (Oh, and if you’re wondering how on Poptropica I got that smoke bomb, it’s from Arabian Nights Island.) 😛

PHB Sunday Special: Become a Living Zomberry

(Happy Sunday! Here’s a guest post by MetusNui; enjoy! -fishy)

Zomberry costumeHi viewers,

I’m MetusNui, a guy who likes blogging, but doesn’t have a blog of his own. This is my second post on PHB (click here to see the first) and today I’m going to talk about Zomberry Island. Want to know how to dress like a uh… zomberry?

  1. Colorize your hair and skin purple/indigo (your hair should a darker shade).
  2. Complete the Haunted House and get the Zombie Costume.
  3. Customize the Eyes and the Mouth.
  4. If you have the Applebees item, customize the handheld apple.

Enjoy your zomberry costume! When the island is released, it will look like a zombie (sorry, zomberry) fighting against other zomberries. 🙂

PHB Pop-over Special: Lex Luthor & Superman

(Hope you’re having a great day! Enjoy this guest post by Lazy Runner. -Fishy)

Hey Poptropica fans!

I’m Lazy Runner or MetusNui. I just found out how to dress like the Man of Steel and Lex Luthor on Poptropica. I emailed the PHB and if you’re reading this, they liked what I wrote. So here it is.

Lex Luthor

  • Get the suit from the secretary on Spy Island.
  • Then, get the bald head from Ex-Director D in the cage.
  • For a Kryptonite Gun, pick up the green gun from Laser Tag on Wimpy Boardwalk.
  • If for some reason, you cannot do this, or you can’t be bothered, friend LexLuth and costumise his outfit.

Superman

  • Get the blue pants and the red cape from the second blue costume from Capes and Masks on Super Power Island.
  • The Superman Shirt is more complicated. Either create a new character, or friend ManO’Steel.
  • For the hairpiece, costumes the retired hero on Super Power Island.
  • If for some reason, you cannot do this, or you can’t be bothered, friend ManO’Steel and costumise his outfit.

Thanks for reading!

Gnomeo, Gnomeo, wherefore art thou Gnomeo?

Help little Gnomeo, the lovestruck blue gnome of the new movie Gnomeo & Juliet, send the red gnome Juliet his love by avoiding obstacles and other red gnomes. The easiest way to do this, of course, is to fly (either with Super Power or Early Pop jetpack). If that’s not the option, here’s a video walkthrough from YouTuber secretscp to help you out:

At the end you can win two prizes! You can dress up like one of the gnomes with the costume (Gnomeo outfit for boys and Juliet’s for girls) or plant cute little garden gnomes anywhere on the ground with your space bar.

In other news, the PHF (one of our affiliated networks, the Poptropica Help Forum) has been replaced with DigiTalk, a new forum with a broader range of topics to discuss – which includes but is not limited to just Poptropica! It’s still targeted towards Poptropica’s age group, so you’ll probably love it. Click here to sign up or here to learn a little more from PHB guest poster iPrepKid.
