As of today, May 24, 2011, the Poptropica Help Blog has reached the milestone of five million visitors. It’s been less than three years, but we have had thousands coming to our website every day for their dose of Poptropica awesomeness.

And we couldn’t have done this without all of you guys. Thank you to each and everyone of you for continuing to support the PHB!

If the mayor of 24 Carrot Island was upset about Dr. Hare’s mischief, well, things just got worse. Dr. Hare has posted the following on the Poptropica Creators’ Blog:

Bad news gets worse for the mayor of 24 Carrot Island.

Wait a minute, I don’t remember this picture being taken. That’s not the real Dr. Hare at all. It’s an impostor!

Poptropica TOYS are in the making!

Popular online toy store ToyWiz.com has a page up declaring that it is “your source for official Poptropica merchandise like toys, action figures, plush & redemption codes for online virtual items!” You can now pre-order goodies that will ship to you in June.

Featured items right now include 7-inch plush figures of Dr. Hare, Shark Boy, and more. There are also 6-inch action figures, 3-inch mini figure toy 2-packs, as well as a deluxe toy playset: the 30-inch inflatable blimp!

Sounds like a lot of fun!

Even stealthy ninjas need a little help sometimes. And that’s what the Poptropica Help Blog is here for. Thanks to Super Thunder and Icy Comet, a guide is now available for the new Red Dragon Island! Available exclusively for paying Poptropica members, the Midnight Red Ninja is the latest costume to hit the Poptropica Store and is inspired by the upcoming Red Dragon Island – the perfect outfit to wear when the island rolls out!

Did this happen to remind anyone else of the clothes in the movie The Princess Bride? No? Just me then. 😛

Prince Humperdinck: Surrender.
Westley: You mean you wish to surrender to me? Very well, I accept.

And while this costume is only for members, nonmembers don’t have to feel too bad either – although no new costumes for nonmembers were added, there’s always the good old Samurai and original Midnight Ninja.

[UPDATE!] The Red Dragon Island sneak preview has been modified to include a traveling salesman who has set up a little kiosk titled ‘Curio Shop’ where you can easily purchase the new Midnight Red Ninja costume. It’s located next to the wrestling ring.
