I CAN SEE THE FUTURE…and it’s full of spelling errors.

The Fortune Cookie has just arrived in the store. Pearls of wisdom from the minds of the Poptropica Creators have been carefully placed inside each of these cookies. This fun, new item has two purposes:
1. Crack open the cookie to understand your own future
2. Place the cookie in common rooms to provide the future for unsuspecting Poptropican users.

Follow these simple guidelines to place a fortune cookie among others then wait for them to click.

Well, today the Creators released a new item in the store – the “Fortune Cookie”. With it, you will be able to “see” the future and have your “destiny” revealed…at least that’s what the back of the box says. Anyway, this post is really great – except for the spelling error in the directions image. See if you can spot it.

EDIT: Sneaky little Creators you. They’ve updated the post to fix the spelling error.
Does the Fortune Cookie turn into a car or something? Great bonus, Creators. Nice touch.

The Creators and Coffee: A Bad Mix

Yo,

Hey guys! The Creators have been posting a lot recently (wonder who slipped the sugar into their tanks…) and their most recent post is BEEEELOOOOWW:

Greetings, Poptropica fans!
Recently, the creators of Poptropica learned of an
exciting new development: Next week, a special
guest is coming to Poptropica! He’s well known to many of you
(especially those of you who like to laugh)
for his hilarious adventures, not to mention his loony
friends and family.
Let’s be sure to welcome him when he arrives.
Expect more information on Monday, Poptropicans.
You won’t want to miss this!

BLACK WIDOW

Not to ruin the surprise (._.), but it’s obviously…Greg Heffley, from the extremely popular comic-book series “Diary of a Wimpy Kid”. Perhaps he’ll make a guest appearance in an Advertisement of some sort? Questions, questions!

Are you a fan of vampires? We’ve got a whole new set of vampire looks just waiting to be costumized. Check them out in the Poptropica store!

Yaay..totally (not) awesome…vampires. (._.)

UNTIL NEXT TIME, I’M MARTIN BASHIR, REPORTING FROM NIGHTLINE AT NBC

Sneak Peeks, Steamworks Island

IT’S ALIIIIIIVE!!!!!!

Well, looks like Steamworks Island isn’t far away! With all the updates talking about the Hub, it seems like a lot of Steamworks Island revolves around it. Anywho, check out the Cr3@t0Rz latest post:

I’m out, guys.

Well guys, it’s been a long, long, good run. I’m sorry to say this, but I’m leaving the Poptropica Creators Blog. I feel as if if I’m not needed or appreciated, especially since yesterday Dr. Hare and the Widow kept making fun of me. I mean, what’s so wrong about liking to wear a Jester outfit? It’s not like I’m prancing around in a pink tutu like Dr. Hare. (Yes, I saw Hare. …And let’s just say my vision isn’t 20/20 anymore.) Besides, I’m better off committing interstellar felonies, like stealing princesses (fun fun fun!), attacking innocent people, you know, that type of thing. So, asta la vista.

THE BINARY BARD

I kid, I kid. The real post is:

The Hub started life as all of Poptropica does, as a simple idea and a sketch. Before long, we take that idea and turn it into reality. But did you know how many different revisions a single scene takes before it gets the Poptropica stamp of approval?

At first glance, this might look like a well developed scene.

But look a little more closely. Why is almost everything the same color? Why does it all look so flat? And what the heck is that blue thing on the right, anyway?

No, the Hub isn’t done yet. Not even close.

It’s big, it’s green, and just might eat your head off. Meet Mr. Snuggles.

Ba ba ba, ba ba ba, dum dum dum, tra tra tra! Oooooha, baddaaaaang ba, trum-a la la, oooeeeba-Oops. Heyyyyy there. What was I doing…? Right…posting…I think…

The ‘Root’ Of All Evil

It’s actually kind of cute. I think I’ll call him Mr. Snuggles.

HAZMAT HERMIT

See? Just from this post, I can tell that Hazmat Hermit has great decision-making skills. I mean, who else would reason that an eight-foot plant with two mouths (that are obviously for making cute dog noises, barking, and most obviously not for eating you) is not a plant whose nature is to eat everything that comes into sight, and looks edible?

…And that, my friends, is why he’s Poptropica’s top scientist on all the unknown. Job well done, Hermit. JOB WELL DONE MAN!!! *claps*

*Walks away instead of zooming, flying, teleporting, or vaporizing like his fellow authors*
