Fear not, folks: Zeus’s reign of terror with Mount Olympus is over, and the Poptropica Help Blog is back to steal his thunder. April Fools! 🗻🌩️😶🌫️
For a while there, it looked like Zeus had managed to conquer both the PHB and PHC, demanding loyalty from Poptropicans everywhere in his freshly extended kingdom of Mount Olympus. But just like his previous domination attempts in Poptropica, we’ve once again thwarted Dr. Jupiter’s plans by regaining access to our site and kicking him off.
Even though Zeus is going to have to admit he can’t force his way to the top spot of the Favorite Poptropica Island Tournament, the Greek god of thunder sure enjoyed his moment of glory in the comments and chat! This Grandpa Thunderpants, as he came to be known, even received fan art from some of his followers (or haters?) on the PHC. Check them out:

I believe I was responsible for that (I created three new emails and WordPress accounts with the help of my friend Sporty Runner). We created them for Poseidon and Athena, and also for Hades, but we never used the latter.

OMG! I think this was the best prank yet!
I agree. It was the first real experience I had with the PHB April Fools’ Day pranks. In 2022, I forgot to check in that day, and when I did, the PHB had just been reverted back. In 2023, I was eagerly anticipating a prank in the morning, but it wasn’t as fun because it was just one post, and not an entire PHB makeover. This one was supreme!
BY THE WAY if you are wondering, the fanart made by MiasElias is used by a game called Gacha Life 2. Kind of the dressup game in Poptropica Jr., BUT much more…complex and creative.
