Hey, Poptropicans!
A few weeks ago, Blue Tooth wrote a cryptic post that hinted at the possibility of an upcoming island. We waited with bated breath for any news about a potential new island. Now, Poptropica has just confirmed what we’ve been hoping for: A new island will be released this summer!!!
As of this point, we don’t know what this island will be about. All we have to go off of is this cheetah run cycle. In their post over on the Creator’s Blog, you’ll also find a photo containing references for this speedy cat. It’s super cool seeing these drawings come to life through the power of animation!
So far, fan feedback has been super positive. Many fans have been itching to go on a new adventure after what seems like forever. Soon, we’ll be able to travel to a new world and experience an original story, just like the good old days!
So, will the new island be on Poptropica Worlds or Original? Instagram user djf1107 posed the question, and the Creators confirmed with “Pop babeeyyy”: the island will be released on Poptropica Original.
Although it’s nice to see a new island on Pop Original, it’s pretty sad to hear that Pop Worlds isn’t being updated after all this time. This bittersweet statement opens a lot of questions regarding the future of Pop Worlds. Only time will tell what happens to it…

Oh yeah, I wanted slicker movement controls like in the non SUIs ever since SUIs were thing. (And have pages to orginize your stuff in the backpack when theres a lot of them)
Is anyone able to contact SUPERSIU, because I can’t. I need to tell him that the closet wearing thing broke
for some of my outfits, it doesn’t work. Lucky for me, a few of my outfits actually are able to be coppeid, and pasted onto my avatar.

ok a new a sounds SUPER COOL but how dare you get rid of the old islands i mean come on

I’m not an expert poptropican, but poptropica never really had animals that would move continuously. (Maybe they would jump and switch positions every now and then, but never actually run) So maybe it’s for a minigame? Or it’s actually for pop worlds and we were all tricked.
Spy island – the guard dogs that try to eat you, 24 carrot – that woman’s cat, Wild West – the horse you’ve been given, just to name a few.
The guard dogs and whiskers (the cat) are both in a minigame type setting. But the horse is true.
Not sure if they’re really considered in a mini-game setting since they’re rather sections or missions than mini games. But yeah, sure.

Just for speculation, considering that they showed off a cheetah, prehaps the new island could take place in a zoo and you gotta either take care, keep watch or get back zoo animals.
Although, the guess that would be probably a more interesting would be in the wild, of which, the plot could be anything, pochers, a safari, business men who want to get rid of the place, or something totally crazy.
I too think that maybe the cheetah wants to escape the zoo because it wants the freedom. And maybe things like preventing the poachers from finding the cheetah could work too. Anyways, really COOL! 😋
What I’m mostly getting at with both guesses is that the cheetah is one of the many animals that would probably be in this island, but sure.
