The poppin’ pets have arrived!

What’s up, Poptropicans? Oh, that’s right — the Pet Barn is finally open! Looks like the Poptropica Creators really stuck to their promise. 😀

As previous sneak peeks have told us, there are five pets available. These include a puppy, a kitten, a bunny, a lizard, and a goat — the last three being members only.

Disappointingly, there isn’t much else to do in the pet barn other than adopting a pet and using the pet colorizer to change its color (which is available to everyone!). It is really cute though.

Here are my two pets — Clover the bunny and Ivy the lizard!

Well, that about covers this update. I really like the idea of pets… I’m just hoping we get more customization options in the near future; clothing options would be particularly great, Creators. 😉 Also, additional features for the pets would be cool because right now they’re essentially just followers. So, what are your thoughts? Leave them down in the comments!

  1. I’ll take a look at these pets when I can.

    People are down about the majority of the pets (and the good ones at that) are for members. I’m honestly not suprised by this what so ever, I’m really not. 😒

  2. Well I got a cat and named him Big.

    Although this sort of glitch happened (it has nothing to do with the pet (I think)). I was at Spy island, I was curious if I could perform that friend page glitch and maybe customize my cat, but I forgot that the friends page has been changed. So I just went to one of the people I friended and went to there clubhouse.

    I went around, but when I tried to go back through the door, the game sort of froze. I am currently stuck, and as I’m typing this, I can’t access the items menu. I guess this happened because I was at a non SUI, and the game is programmed to have the player go out to the last SUI room and was not programmed on account towards the non SUI.

  3. The pets are cool, wish they did more than follow you. Glad the colourizer is for everyone.
    The only thing I don’t like is how the pets jump. The pets are really small, but they jump REALLY high. It looks wierd. I mean it’s a cat, not a grasshopper.

  5. My pets are Lizzie the Lizard (Because my name is Elizabeth), Bonnie the Bunny, Gwen the Goat, Petunia the Puppy and Katie the Kitten. Lizzie is my favorite. I always have her following me.
