March Madness Tie and Purplish Pictures

Greetings Hawk-tropicans! This is Giant Hawk speaking, and today, I have some more rather maddening news dreamt up for you all.

So, you all remember March Madness, right? Well, it’s still going on – but nevertheless, the Creators have decided to grace us with knowledge of the competition’s three frontrunners. The statistics are as follows:

  1. Red Dragon Island – 19.8%
  2. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Island – 19.8%
  3. Wimpy Boardwalk Island – 15.1%

And believe it or not, Red Dragon and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory are only one vote away from each other! So everyone get voting, because March Madness ends on March 31. Your votes mean more now than ever, and remember you can vote once inย every common room!

Just a reminder,ย Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Island is currently free for all for a limited time (until when, we don’t know) โ€“ so if you do want to get the most out of this, maybe vote for another island so we can play both for free?ย #RedDragonIslandFTW

In other news, have you seen this semi-recent post on the Daily Pop? It’s the only sneak peek we’ve gotten so far this month…

Super mysterious, right? For what could this sneak peak be? Could it be for an upcoming island cutscene, or perhaps an animated short/special?

The possibilities are endlessly intriguing, so I would like to hear from all of you Poptropica theorists – what do you think this is, and where do you believe it be featured further?

Update: Last but not least, check out this pic Poptropica tweeted of the Arabian Nights Island Poster โ€“ where we can see itย as a painting in real life!

Until next time…

  1. Nabooti is and always will be one of my favorites, it’s a lot better than all the other choices imo. I thought we all universally hated Wimpy Boardwalk, I’m surprised it is in the top 3.

      1. Yeah. Me and Paul assumed that it came mostly from fans of the book series. ๐Ÿ˜›

Whatever the case, if someone else can get pleasure out of an island I don’t personally like, that’s fine – beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  2. I think the sneak peak is for a new Poptropica trailer thingy, along with the scenes of PoptropiCon and Olympus from a few weeks and months ago. The weird thing is that that sneak peak has been up there for two weeks. 0_0

Also, I think the reason that Wimpy Boardwalk is in the top three is because a bunch of 1st graders just voted for random islands LOL.

    1. Sadly “Daily” Pop doesn’t always live up to its name these days… ๐Ÿ˜›

Maybe some people did vote randomly, but let’s give people (in particular, said first graders) a bit more credit โ€“ I’m sure they, like anyone might, have their reasons for their picks. ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. If Wimpy Boardwalk gets chosen, I will be so mad… I LOVE Magic Tree house and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I remember when they were ALL free to everybody. *Sigh.*
    Those were the days…

  4. The Daily Pop Sneak Peek’s description may be hinting at Omegon, since I believe one of the PoptropiCon episodes was called “Reign of Omegon” or something similar to that – those ominously glowing red eyes may very well be Omegon’s himself or one of his Henchbots.
Will Omegon be making a reappearance in a future island in a similar fashion to the other iconic villains a la Super Villain Island? If so, that would be truly wonderful ๐Ÿ˜€ ! If Omegon wants a rematch with Alphaon, a rematch he is going to get – **bwahahaha** >:D *chokes*.

  5. Well, well I thought that with all the fans Red Dragon would be way ahead by now! Time to up my reload game *flips hair*

What's popping, Poptropicans?
