Hey Poptropicans, guess who? Yeah, it’s me, Angry Wing. I know you all want to get up and give me a standing ovation, but please, fight the urge and hold it in for now. Aw, I’m just kidding with you. I’m not here for applause, I’m here to tell you stuff. Stuff other than talking about applause. ANYWAY!
All the talk is about Gamer Guy, Gamer Guy’s firing, Mocktropica, glitches, and Mega Fighting Bots. A little background: Gamer Guy was first introduced a long time ago, when his character began appearing in some Daily Pop Sneak Peeks. Remember, everyone wanted to know when Poptropicans would be getting iPhones? Gamer Guy then was a character on Zomberry Island. Most likely, you played video games in his house. Then, last Tuesday, Captain Crawfish handed over the helm of the Creator’s blog to him. (Get the pun there?)
Finally, what’s gotten him fired is his promotion of a rival website. This is where we arrive at Mega Fighting Bots. Still with me so far?

Definitely not much to get from this, although the game was previously playable…
I have come to one conclusion. It’s all just another promotion for Poptropica’s newest island. A fun one, more elaborate than we have seen in the past. Kudos to the Creators for reeling us in on this adventure.
One more thing: this shouldn’t really have come as too much of a surprise, as this Sneak Peek was posted weeks ago.
Just sayin’.

Well, there’s just a Coming Soon sign up on the MFB site now, but it used to be playable. This is all just weird. 😛

Its a prank by the creators of poptropica. In the pictures on there website with daily pop there is an airplane with the letter MFB on it. Mega Fighting Bots. it has something to do with the island. likely its a new villain (AKA Gamer Guy) With a new competing website. Mocktropica is supposed to mock poptropica so its likely mimicking things that have really happened behind the scenes. They are making it seem like a guy called gamer guy really got fired so it would be just like in “real Life” supposedly.

I can still play it and if try to go onto poptropica and try returning to poptropolis instead of blimb i can only play Mega Fighting Bots that im tired of already…i really hope they fix it as i dont want to make a new one since i have completed all of the currently free to play islands 😦
its not wierd at all! gamer guy is real, he’s trying to take over poptropica and im going to stop him! (so i can be the one who rules it)
i knew it! just before u posted this i commented on another post saying that he was probably the villain of Mocktropica. this confirms my suspicions. he was never fired. he is just being made to look more realistic. hes likely a creator in disguise. poptropica is fooling everyone. so thanks angry wing for using a brain cell or two to figure it out. peace out!

@Angry Wing, you’re like the only person who gets it! It’s just a more elaborate way of making the story more real (also a way to get more kids to buy membership to play the island 😉
