Arrr you going to save the kingdom with your pencil? Four new books for the adventurous Poptropica reader!

Poptropica’s been hard at work, and 4 new books are expected to be released on November 8th, 2012. Of course… not to brag or anything… but the PHB had already been posting about it months before! (see here, here, or here) Anyway, now we’ve got some blurbs for the books, and you can click on the title to check it out on Amazon. šŸ˜›

Skullduggery Island: In this 160-page illustrated novel, a cruel pirate named Captain Crawfish has been raiding the small port of Fort Ridley. Our hero must embark on a journey to find a powerful ship and skilled crew to help him defeat Captain Crawfish and recover a map that will lead the islanders of Fort Ridley back to their treasure.

Astro-Knights Island: In this 160-page illustrated novel, the princess of the Kingdom of Arturus has been kidnapped by an evil inventor named Mordred who has taken her off into space. Our hero now must learn to build his own space craft and travel to the stars on an intergalactic quest to rescue the princess and save the kingdom of Arturus.

Pencil Warrior: Something sinister is erasing its way across Poptropica, and the only way to stop it is by re-drawing all the islands and re-creating the world before this new threat can erase every trace. This 64-page full-color doodle book is perfect for fans of Poptropica and anyone who loves to draw.

Poptropica Mad Libs: Poptropica Mad Libs features 21 hilarious and action-packed stories based on games and missions from the website. Fans of the site will love to bring the adventure to life by filling in the blanks of our brand new Mad Libs!

This makes 5 books, in addition to the first Poptropica book, Poptropica: The Official Guide, which was released last year. Do you own a copy of the guidebook? Which one of these new books do you plan to add to your bookshelf? šŸ˜€

    1. We did, but the Creators had never mentioned them up until now, so it’s not worthless for the ones who didn’t know. I guess they just decided now would be the time to unveil what they’d been working on, even if we did already know about it before they planned to tell us. šŸ™‚

  1. Wasn’t Astro-Knights and Skullduggery Island in The Official Poptropica Guide Book? If they are then what’s the point to make them again but by themselves? It doesn’t make sense! :I

    1. From the descriptions it sounds like they will be separate stories all about the hero’s adventure in those islands, eg. Astro-Knights Island – the journey to rescuing the princess. It’s like a written account of that island’s full story as opposed to just some tips in the guidebook, I think. šŸ˜›

  2. Don’t worry… it’s halloween and I’m getting all spooky. it’s UU.

I am so buying these books!!!

Speaking of the guy, umm… I’m going to dress my test account (peacelovemusic123456) up like him for halloween!

      1. We don’t know yet if they will. However, there’s a “Haunted House” game on the Poptropica Store, and it’s like a mini-island. (Click here for a guide.) When you win, you’ll have access to a bunch of characters with cool Halloween costumes you can customize from.

      2. Oh yeah, I remember beating that mini island! Thanks, maybe I’ll go back there.

    1. The Creators usually don’t post about the ads on their blog, and the PHB doesn’t do it all the time either because they’re usually pretty simple.

However, the Poptropica books was sort of major news and Muddy Axe was able to uncover that for us months before the PCB posted about it, so that’s pretty awesome. šŸ˜€

  3. There’s a new Madagascar 3 AD in Super Villain Island !! (Movie + rainbow wig pack). Just to let you know. šŸ˜‰
